Warm gusts of wind, and clouds scattered around the hovering blue. A Small chop on the painted teal sea induced a gentle roll reminding us of our impending journey around the islands. At 88 topside and 84 below, another fantastic week awaited us and our guests.

Black forest set the bar early, as we slipped into our dive a Turtle swam circles around us and nibbled on a sponge. Deeper we sank into the black coral forest where we found Neck crabs swaying to the tune of the tide and a Goldentail moray doing its best to look menacing. Then off to West Caicos and Driveway we went. Slipping into her dark night waters we found ourselves amidst Reef sharks and Blackjacks fighting for sustenance, Eels swimming freely, and Stingrays carefully searching the sands. Hiding amongst the coral heads was a Juvenile Scorpionfish, and a White Speckled Nudibranch dancing on a common sea fan.

The Anchor on Monday was great and during lunch Aggressor veteran Paul Gacek entertained us with his video of the dives so far, Thanks Paul! After a quick trip out to French cay we dove into the G-spot with our Nurse and Reef shark friends and a few snippy Nassau Groupers. On the Sundeck Ronnie whipped up a BBQ, and baked a cake for the Birthday boy…Surprise! Happy Birthday Royce!

Two step is a healthy site with a sandy step leveling out at 90 ft. walls bustling with life seem to hang around it enforcing its depth. Nassau Groupers await our arrival stoically approaching us for attention, as if they do not desire it but by now we know better. This Nassau trait lost on “Gulley” the resident grouper that warms up to even the buoyancy challenged divers along the wall at Gullies….but don’t ignore the sharks! Bruce and Wendy hit their 1000th hour underwater as well, a cake was definitely in order! Congrats you two!

A sloping channel cut into the dense plate coral leading you west suddenly drops off at 100 ft. Looking back at it you see just how crammed Brandywine is with Corals and sponges, colors and crevices, such a fun site. As well as a Spotted Scorpionfish unflinching, convinced we could not have seen him. R.G.I, our next site was exciting. Scott and John took our torpedoes for a spin- playing chase the shark. We also have a new Nitrox diver, Congratulations Scott!

Rain rain, go away. Just as we arrive at Elephant ear canyon its starts. Woohoo! Pike blennies always fun to spot. Off we go to Le Dome! Macro macro macro! We finished out the day scouring the structure for little critters, and quick swim out to the chimney, a hole on the edge of the reef dropping from 50ft. to 85ft. here we found an anonymous Nudibranch.

Wakey wakey! One last early morning dive for our departing guests at Black forest. Some slept in, some swam and sunbathed. Royce and J took our Torpedoes for a last spin. A wonderful end to a wonderful week. Thank you Bruce, Wendy, Susan, Eddie, Paul, Royce, James, Stephanie, Mark, John, Scott, and Thomas. Hope to see you again soon!

Your crew,

Amanda, Steve, Ronnie, Melissa, Justin and Mark
