This week we welcomed aboard visitors from, USA, Denmark and the United Kingdom on the Galapagos Aggressor III. We picked everyone up from Itabaca Channel, they were part of a group that was having a great time at the Galapagos.
We headed out to a briefing and to get ready for our check dive. We came up with a plan for the incoming days and later on, went to check dive and we saw our first stingrays and sea turtles!
Friday January 9th
On Friday, we headed to Bartolome Island for one of the most spectacular views of the archipelago enjoying the spectacular views of this pristine island. During the afternoon dive we saw some sea turtles and sea lions.
Saturday January 10th
For this Saturday, we visited Cabo Marshall, located by Isabela Island. This place, known for its great marine life, received us with eagle rays, mantas, mobulas, hammerhead sharks, white tipped sharks, creole fish and wahoos.
Sunday January 11th
Going north west, at Cabo Douglas and Punta Vicente Roca, Tuesday gave us the chance to see other variety of the marine life: we could swim with penguins, sea horses, marine iguanas and also saw the fly less cormorant. Sea lions and sea turtles joined us today.
Monday January 12th
On Monday, after a night navigation going east, we could visit Cousins Rock. She was waiting for us with barracudas, scorpion fish and eagle rays followed by sea lions and see turtles.
Tuesday January 13th
We said our farewells to our guests, feeling a little bit sad that our group was leaving us, but having the sensation of a great week. Thanks again for joining us along the Galapagos Aggressor; we hope to see you again soon!
