…16 guests from the USA and the United Kingdom joined us for a fun filled week of diving aboard the beautiful Belize Aggressor III.  Guests began the boarding process at 3:00PM.  Scuba equipment setup and each guest shown to their cabins.  We had our welcome aboard briefing and champagne toast at 6:00PM.
Sunday May 24th
…We began the dive week at Sandy Slope on Turneffe Islands Atoll.  Ann found a nice 2” sea horse, along with several pipe horse & pipefish.  For the afternoon and night dive we checked out Julie’s Jungle on Lighthouse Reef Atoll.  Squid, octopus, and giant clinging crabs were seen during the night dive.
Monday May 25th
…The day started magically on Long Caye Ridge.  2 free swimming green morays became diving companions with a few guests, horse eye jacks schooled under the shadow of the BAIII, and Tarpon congregated just feet from the hang bar.  The night dive was exciting as well, red and white sea urchins climbed to the top of their respected corals, white speckled nudi-branch were hanging on the red rope sponges, caribbean reef squid used the soft gorgonians as cover from those fish on the hunt, and of course octopus intent on finding something good to eat.
Tuesday May 26th
…Silver Caves gave everyone something to see.  Hawks bill turtle, green turtle, sharks, eagle rays, you name it they saw it!  The site was so good we stayed for three dives and then headed over to Long Caye Wall for it’s dramatic drop into the abyss.
Wednesday May 27th
…Island Time!!!  For the morning the guests were offered a chance to walk around the island of Half Moon Caye and check out those red footed boobie birds.  Afterward it was Blue Hole time and then some lunch.  For the afternoon we enjoyed Half Moon Caye Wall.  Pipe horse, pipefish, rosy razor fish, thousands of garden eels, sharks, eagle rays, and three hawks bill turtles were seen during the dives.
Thursday May 28th
…We splashed in on Chain Wall (my favorite site) for Shark encounters, spotted eagle rays, and a big ole Loggerhead Turtle!!!  After a brief rain shower, we jumped in for another relaxing dive on SE Cut.  A few groupers and barracudas posed for some photo ops.
Friday May 29th
…The week went by fast.  A pre-breakfast dive on Painted Wall, then back over to Turneffe for one last dive of the week.  Beautiful end to a fabulous week of diving in Belize.  Once back in port, everyone lounged around until our cocktail hour / awards ceremony.  Congratulations to the following divers:
Aggressor & Dancer Addict - Gary & Michelle (10 trips)
  EAN40 - Tom & Erik
Saturday May 30th
…8:00AM the crew said their good byes as the guests departed the vessel.  Most returning home, while a couple would be staying in Belize for another week.
…Well, that’s the week folks.  On behalf of the crew - keep smiling and keep diving.  And remember with Aggressor you always EAT, SLEEP, & DIVE!
