This week we started with a late departure after dinner and safety briefing people were ready for bed, next sailing day we made all the adjustments to be ready for the late arrival a strong wind and the flat seas allowed us to get there on time so after breakfast we all plunged into the ocean we had a rainy day and the water conditions were just fantastic for the good dives on top of things we had fun moon this week, being a short adventure as this was a shorter trip we were only able to get to the bests spots this week, Alcyone had some hammerhead sharks and Dirty rock had amazing dives too however the best dives and the most action were in my old favorite Manuelita and Punta Maria was just amazing, Galapagos sharks in Punta Maria were huge and they came in close curious as they are and with the visibility that was a bit low in some dives they had to be close to see us so the photo ops were plenty.
Manuelita in the shallows had some of the best dives this week, starting with the Frog fish, we had three frog fish in a little spot and a small one was on top the one of the big ones, then the schooling hammers then few that stick around for long and they kept circling in the shallows and as we moved along the reef a hawksbill turtle, a tiger shark and a big silver tip, now as we were running out of gas a school of at least 30 marble rays all males moving in tandem all chasing after a big female the mating was on and even do we did not see the actual mating this was the ritual that last for long until one gets lucky..
We had a fair amount of rain this week and the crossings were amazingly flat.
Stay tune for more
