Sunday October 25th
…We began our week of diving on Turneffe Islands Atoll. The weather was pleasant and the diving very good.
Monday October 26th
…A pod of 20 Dolphins welcomed us on Lighthouse Atoll. During the dives we encountered several spotted eagle rays, feisty damsel fish protecting their algae gardens, and a couple hawks bill turtles.
Tuesday October 27th
…Encounters were plenty with caribbean reef sharks, small black tip sharks, octopus, mating indigo hamlets, schools of horse eye jacks, swim-throughs, and great cleaning stations for Black Groupers and Nassau Groupers.
Wednesday October 28th
…We started the day off with some Bird watching at Half Moon Caye. Then we motored to the Great Blue Hole. The afternoon dives were filled with sharks, octopus, a great big orange sea horse and tarpon right beneath the yacht.
Thursday October 29th
…Turtles, spotted eagle rays, free swimming moray eels, burrfish, caribbean reef squid, arrow squid, lettuce sea slug, southern stingrays and much more marine life was encountered and photographed during this exceptional day of diving.
Friday October 30th
…We finished the week of great diving at two of my favorite dive sites - Quebrada & Painted Wall. Beautiful sponges decorating the vertical walls, a big loggerhead passed by as well as a couple magnificent eagle rays. Once the diving was done, we packed up and headed back to Belize City.
