Our guests arrived at 17:00 full of enthusiasm. We got our gear all set, had the welcome briefing followed by a delicious dinner and head to bed, excited for our first day of diving.
Sunday 13th December 2015
We arrived in Koh Haa around 1:00 am so after a good night sleep, we started some great diving. Check dive was done at Koh Haa lagoon, where we found some beautiful nudibranchs, schooling juvenile barracudas, yellow snappers and many scorpion fish. The day kept as good as it gets, having many giant trevallies, tunas, blue fin jacks and thousands of fusiliers and glass fish.
Monday 14th December 2015
We spent the day at Tarutao National Park and we had some great dives. We spent our morning at Koh Talang where we saw many bamboo sharks, mantis shrimps, some very pretty anemones and anemone fish, Indian walk man and a beautiful ornate ghost pipe fish. We did Stonehenge in the afternoon, and being one of our favorite dive site, we could not expect any better. We had some light current that made the colorful soft corals blown and there were many nudibranchs including the blue dragon and flabelina, plus large schools of barracudas and yellow snappers.
Tuesday 15th December 2015
We have decide to head back north towards Hin Daeng / Muang and Koh Haa and what a wise choice. Visibility really improved and at every dive, divers would say it was the best dive so far. At Hin Daeng / Muang we saw some fairly large giant trevallies, tunas and jacks. There was our resident turtle, friendly swimming around our divers. At Koh Haa we explored the caverns of Koh Haa yai and enjoyed some beautiful soft corals at Koh Haa rock.
Wednesday 16th December 2015
We had a wonderful day at Phi Phi area. We dived a wreck with many nudibranchs, schooling yellow snappers and many scorpion fish. Second dive at hin bida we saw some beautiful banded sea krait, stonefish, Samoan pipe fish and corals blew everyone minds off. We had some amazing afternoon dives with full of soft and hard corals, mating cuttlefish and a lot of eating action. Just great…
Thursday 17th December 2015.
We decided to dive again at Hin Bida for being such a great dive. We saw many cuttlefish mating, schooling squids, thousands of fusiliers and many barracudas. We headed then to Anemone reef and Shark point where we saw two sea horse, nudis, blue spotted sting rays and some great soft and hard corals. Our divers came back to the boat with a great smile on their faces.
Friday 18th December 2015
It was our last day of diving and it was simply phenomenal. We started at Racha Noi Bay where we saw many mantis shrimp, shrimp gobies, blue spotted sting rays, schooling barracudas and giant trevallies. As we were getting ready to do our last dive at Marina Bay, a six metre whale shark popped at surface and our divers managed to snorkel with it. Time to go diving and of course, the whale shark came back, staying with the divers for more than ten minutes. What a last day.
