Another great week of diving, the crossings to Caño Island are so fast and easy you go to sleep and next thing you know they are ringing the diving bell, this week we had some of the best dive sites around Caño, Bajo del Diablo been probably the best, this site is been always full of fish and for the past couple of month the Manta Rays have always been there for the divers sometimes these magnificent giants are so friendly they keep circling around you over and over, last day we spent hours with these Mantas as by special request our guest wanted to get their picture taken with the Mantas, this place also gave us a very exciting surprise when out of the blue a 12 footer Bull shark came straight to me I try to get peoples’s attention but because of the noise I made I scared it away, that of course was after a dive in Bajo Damian where we all saw the bull shark up close, that time the shark when right under the divers made a loop and went away.
Places like the Barco Hundido and El Faro were full of fish, many types of grunts, snapper, lobster, moray eels and lots more. We had a pleasant surprise one dive where we found a pair of Harlequin shrimp and for our surprise the harlequin stayed in that single spot all week long.
Some of this places are loaded with stingrays and schooling barracudas, there was this one dive at the shark cave where we saw a friendly hawk’s bill turtle.
Diving was good, weather was good, food was good and guest were amazing..
Stay tune for more.
Thanks to all of our guests; Douglas, Mark and Yvette, Carla, Massimo, Ana and Marcos, Paula and Ronald, Gail and Dickie, Michael, Dane and Bonnie, . For a great week of diving.
