Thursday July 28th

This week we welcomed aboard visitors coming from Denmark, France, USA and Switzerland. We picked them up from Baltra Airport in the morning and headed out to a briefing and to get ready for our check dive. During the check dive we saw yellow tailed surgeon fish, sea lions and sea turtles.

Friday July 29th

On Friday, we had two dives in Punta Carrion north side of Santa Cruz Island. We saw sea turtles, sea lions, jacks, creole fish and scorpion fish.

 

Later on, we had a land tour in Bartolome Island to see a volcanic and pristine land scape from the top.

Saturday July 30th

We reached Wolf Island to dive with big eye jacks, hammerhead sharks, eagle rays, cow nose rays, dolphins.

Sunday July 31st

On Sunday we went to Darwin, one of the most famous islands in Galapagos. Here, we could see whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, big eye jacks, yellow fin tuna and wahoos.

Monday August 1st

Around Darwin and Wolf we had other dive times, in which we saw dolphins, hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, sea turtles and sea lions.

Tuesday August 2nd

Going down south, at Cabo Douglas and Punta Vicente Roca, Tuesday gave us the chance to see other variety of the marine life: we could swim with marine iguanas, sea lions, red lipped batfish, sea turtles, sea horses and horn sharks.

Wednesday August 3rd

On Wednesday, after a night navigation going east, we could visit Cousins’ Rock. She was waiting for us with school eagle rays, barracudas, sea lions, sea turtles and marble rays.

 

Later on, we went to visit the highlands of Santa Cruz to see the famous giant tortoises: the Galapagos were peacefully walking around the place, in the wild. It was a precious moment.

Thursday August 4th

 

We said our farewells to our guests, feeling a little bit sad that our group was leaving us, but having the sensation of a great week. Thanks again for joining us along the Galapagos Aggressor; we hope to see you again soon!
