Wednesday August 10th
All guests boarded and were shown to cabins. Safety briefing. Refreshments on arrival and dinner served onboard.
Thursday August 11th
An early morning departure from Belize City. Good sea conditions for safe passage across to the dive sites of the Western reefs of the Turneffe Islands. The initial check out dives were made on Sandy Slope and Zip Line sites. Plenty to see and all the Divers happy with their dive equipment.
Saturday August 13th
Travelling now south to the southern tip of Turneffe Island. Two dives on the southern reefs –Black Beauty & Front Porch. Friendly reef sharks and a nurse shark meet the divers, then it’s eastward travel to our night mooring near Long Cay.
Sunday August 14th
…The Blue Hole was the first dive of the day. After the dive we motored to Half Moon Caye to check out the red footed boobie birds and magnificent frigates that nest the entire year on the island. The afternoon dives were made on Painted wall. Searching for painted tunicates.
Large loggerhead turtle found on the night dive at painted wall. Octopii hunting at night.
Monday August 15th
Large lobster, Tarpons and Basket stars night feeding.
Tuesday August 16th
In the morning dive it’s Eagle Rays, Eagle Rays, Eagle rays at Eagle ray pass. Up to six spotted crusing along the reef wall at this aptly named dive site. Decorator crabs.
Afternoon dives with a Nurse Shark at the Nurse Shark ridge. Night dive and overnight stay at the site.
Wednesday August 17th
Light South –East swell in the morning on our journey East. Diving the Chain Wall dive site (A reef wall to the south of Half Moon Cay. A site known for large pelagic fish. Reef sharks keeping the divers company throughout the dive.
A short distance traveled Westward to the wall reefs, west of Long Cay.
The rest of the day was spent diving Silver Caves. A wall dive with pleasant swim throughs. Seahorses were the favourite creatures seen on the dives, as well as a Nurse shark.
Thursday August 18th
Morning dives at the Cathedral. Schools of Big Eyed Jacks, Moray Eels and a sleeping Nurse shark. Lunch was taken in view of Saddle Cay. Afternoon dives at Tarpon Caves. Plenty of interesting reef structures and caverns. Caribbean reef sharks, eagle ray, stingrays. Large groupers.
Evening entertainment is the showing of the charter’s dive video, compiled by Instructor Daniel.
Friday August 19th
After staying at the night mooring. An early dawn dive at South-East Cut followed by the last dive of the charter trip, packed full of aquatic life. Caribbean reef sharks, Eagle rays and turtles.
Happy Birthday celebrations for Ruth.
An end to a fantastic 10 days of diving in Belize.
Guests sun bathing on the hot tub deck, once we arrived port, the guests relaxed until our cocktail BBQ party began at 6:00PM.

…Well that’s the week over and at 8:00AM on Saturday, the crew said their farewells to the guests departing the Beautiful Belize Aggressor III.
