A fruit cocktail and a glass of champagne was our crew’s welcoming surprise before the sailing towards the island started.
We arrived around 6 pm and the sailing was pretty nice and smooth.
Manuelita and chattan bay were our first choices and on all dives water was pretty cold and we had thermoclines coming from the deep side of manuelita. However, we got to see our first school of hammerheads and the always present Tiger Shark. She came so close everyone got a little bit nervous.
Then,Dirty Rock and punta maria, great great dives with uncountable hammerheads again on every single dive.one of the schools, and we saw many, had at least over a 100 of them. 8 galapagos were also at the cleaning station and tons of snappers around the main rock.
Water temeperature there was around 18 degrees but we were ok with a 5 mil and a hood on us.
We had bad weather for the next day so instead of going to alcyone we stayed in manuelita again, tiger sharks, oceanic manta rays, yellow fin tunas, schooling hammerheads,!!! A total success.
We did the 2 night dives in Manuelita, and both of them were for some guests one of the highlights of the dive week since they had never dove with sharks in the night before, so adrenaline was all over.
The next day, as the weather was better, we decided to go Alcyone and it was just fantastic!! Hammerheads swimming on our heads, jack fish schools, red snappers on the outisde, dolphins and even a tiger shark, absolutely gorgeous! One of the best dives of Alcyone , ever,
A perfect diving week came to an end,
Many thanks to all our guests and Looking forward having you onboard again,
