Thursday October 6th

We welcomed aboard visitors coming from USA with Joe and Tim as their tour leaders. We picked them up from Baltra Airport in the morning and headed out to a briefing and to get ready for our check dive. During the check dive we saw stingrays and tropical fish.

Friday October 7th

On Friday, we had two dives in Punta Carrion north side of Santa Cruz Island. We saw sea lions, sea turtles, stingrays, eagle rays and tropical fish during these dives.

After the dives, we went on a land tour in Bartolome Island where we could see a volcanic and pristine landscape from the top of the walking trail.

Saturday October 8th

We reached Wolf Island to dive with hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, barracudas, jacks, moray eels, sea turtles, sea lions, black tipped sharks and tropical fish.

Sunday October 9th

On Sunday we went to Darwin, one of the most famous islands in Galapagos. Here, we could find the amazing whale shark and also some hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, black tipped sharks, moray eels, sea turtles, eagle rays, jacks, dolphins and tropical fish.

Monday October 10th

Around Darwin and Wolf we had other interesting dive times, in which we saw more hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, moray eels, jacks, eagle rays, sea turtles, scorpion fish, barracudas and tropical fish.

Tuesday October 11th

Going down south, at Cabo Douglas and Punta Vicente Roca, Tuesday gave us the chance to see other variety of the marine life: we could swim with marine iguanas, cormorant, sea turtles, sea lions, stingrays, bat fish, bull head sharks, scorpion and tropical fish.

Wednesday October 12th

On Wednesday, after a night navigation going east, we could visit Cousins’ Rock. It was waiting for us with sea lions, sea turtles, eagle rays, barracudas and scorpion fish.

 

Later on, we went to visit the highlands of Santa Cruz to see the famous giant tortoises: the Galapagos were peacefully walking around the place, in the wild.

Thursday October 13th

 

We finished our cruise with the satisfaction of a great week. Thanks again for joining us along the Galapagos Aggressor, we will be waiting for another visit when you wish to come back... and we hope it is very soon!
