This was a wonderful week, we had Jeff, Peggy, Samuel, Paul, Richard & Greg with us again, some for their third time, and still planning on coming again.
We all met new friends and the week was truly enjoyed, once they were all settle in their staterooms, the dive deck was busy, everyone setting up their gear before heading up stairs for an introductions and safety briefing. Just after dinner was served and enjoyed the Belize Aggressor IV set out for a wonderful week of diving at Lighthouse Reef & Turneffe Island.
Sunday morning diving was flawless, they were all excited and ready to go diving, we saw Eels, Spotted drum fish, butterfly fish and many big tarpons, a cute puffer fish and a baby box fish! On our night dive we had the chance to see a Spotted Eel hunting for dinner.
The following day we dove at Half Moon Caye Island, we saw many Sting Ray along the sandy side of the dive, Two Spotted Eagle Ray on the wall, Many Friendly Nassau Groupers and two Reef Shark making a few passes on the wall at a depth just enough to keep us confident, the afternoon was just as good, we had two Green Moray free swimming on the reef, channel cleaning crab and a peacock flounder in the sand, more reef sharks and a few more spotted drums. Someone saw something very unique, a few wire coral shrimp that we usually see on the wire corals, Angel fish, squirrel fish, a big rock beauty, jacks under the boat, a big barracuda getting cleaned and some cool lobster.
Over all we had a great week of diving, all our divers were always happy and ready to go again and again, we didn’t had too many night divers in this group but the day dives was truly enjoyed by all, we even saw our little resident Sea Horse again this week at Silver Caves, along with thousands of Silver sides, the Tarpons and Jack, big schools of Horse Eye Jacks and Chubs and a few friendly Barracudas, we also saw our friend Baba again this week, a very big Loggerhead Turtle and a Hoax bill Turtle, also manage to get some awesome video of our elusive friend the Spotted Toad fish, we saw a few of them completely out of their home, giving great opportunity for photos and videos, there was tile fish, shrimp cleaning stations and other numerous active fish and eel activity on the reef this week, very friendly Reef Sharks at Chain wall and many other beautiful reef creatures that was enjoyed that made this adventures week so good.
On behalf of all the crew of the Belize Aggressor IV we would like to thank you for joining us this week,
Thank you we Love YOU!
