Thursday December 1st

This week, we welcomed aboard visitors coming from Switzerland, USA, South Korea and Hong Kong. We picked them up from Baltra Airport in the morning and headed out to a briefing and to get ready for our check dive. During the check dive we saw sea lions, sting rays and tropical fish.

Friday December 2nd

On Friday, we had two dives in Punta Carrion north side of Santa Cruz Island. We saw mola molas, manta rays, mobulas, eagle rays, sting rays, sea turtles, sea lions, scorpion fish, white tip sharks, moray eels and tropical fish.

After them, we went on a land tour in Bartolome Island where we could see a volcanic and pristine landscape from the top of the walking trail.

Saturday December 3rd

We reached Wolf Island to dive with hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, black tip sharks, barracudas, jacks, tunas, eagle rays, scorpion fish, bat fish and tropical fish.

Sunday December 4th  

On Sunday we went to Darwin, one of the most famous islands in Galapagos. Here, we could see hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, black tip sharks, jacks, dolphins, whale sharks, tunas, sea turtles, moray eels and tropical fish.

Monday December 5th 

Around Darwin and Wolf we had other interesting dive times, in which we saw hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, black tip sharks, sea turtles, dolphins, barracudas, tunas, scorpion fish, sting rays and moray eels.

Tuesday December 6th

Going down south, at Cabo Douglas and Punta Vicente Roca, Tuesday gave us the chance to see other variety of the marine life: we could swim with marine iguanas, mola molas, bat fish, sea turtles, sea lions, scorpion fish and tropical fish.

Wednesday December 7th

On Wednesday, after a night navigation going east, we could visit Cousins’ Rock. It was waiting for us with sea lions, sea turtles, white tip sharks, moray eels, barracudas, eagle rays,, mantas, scorpion fish and tropical fish.

 

Later on, we went to visit the highlands of Santa Cruz to see the famous giant tortoises: the Galapagos were peacefully walking around the place, in the wild.

Thursday December 8th

 

We finished our cruise with the satisfaction of a great week. Thanks again for joining us along the Galapagos Aggressor, we will be waiting for another visit when you wish to come back... and we hope it is very soon!
