Sunday December 11th
Long before the sun started to raise the Bahamas Aggressor departed her home dock of Elizabeth On Bay and made way to the Exuma Islands. Her first stop once arriving in the Exuma’s was Barracuda Shoals. While checking weight, buoyancy and camera equipment guest enjoyed swimming with Rays, Scrawled Cowfish, Porcupinefish, Nurse Sharks and Turtles. Need was Flat Rock Reef, with all its soft corals it was like swimming through a underwater garden full of Tropical Fish. A small Plane Wreck just off Ship’s Channel was next. Just a few of the many creatures we saw while swimming around the plane were Giant Anemone, Banded Coral Shrimp, a Variety of Sea Stars and Squid.

Monday December 12th
Not sure how your Monday Morning started but for the guest on the Bahamas Aggressor it was on a dive site called The Aquarium. This site earned its name because while swimming around the site it as like you’re in a private aquarium with a huge variety of Marine Life. Just some of the Marine Life we saw was Schools of Jacks, Snappers, Creole Wrasses, Caribbean Reef Shark and Hawksbill Turtle. The Undersea Garden of Closemon Reef was next. Some of the Gorgonians we saw were Angular Sea Whips, Common Sea Fans as well as Tropical Fish and Sharks. Just before our night dive on Aquarium everyone enjoyed the spinning drift dive of the Washing Machine and the slow drift over Basketstar Reef after the spin cycle of the machine. Basketstar offered Schooling Fish, Rays, Turtles and Very Colorful Corals.

Tuesday December 13th
One of the crew’s favorite dive sites in the Northern Exuma’s is Dog Rocks and that’s where we started the day. Lots of Swim Thru’s, Canyons, a Colorful Wall, and Huge Groupers, Schooling Spadefish, Caribbean Spiny Lobsters and Much More.   After enjoying a wonderful lunch w splashed on Madison Avenue where we enjoyed seeing Pillar Coral, Star Coral, Solitary Disk Coral, schooling Snappers, Spotted Moray Eels and a variety of other creatures. Our day ended with a later afternoon and night dive on the Wreck of The Austin Smith. Guest enjoyed, Groupers, Rays, Crabs and other creatures but it was the 11 Caribbean Reef Sharks coming within a few inches from everyone that really made the dive. It was an Exciting Dive!

Wednesday December 14th
We found ourselves on a pre-breakfast dive in the Exuma Land & Sea Park on the dive site called Jeep Reef. It was an Amazing Morning on Jeep with Clear, Calm Conditions. Everyone had some excellent bottom time playing in the underwater showcase. We saw more Fish and Creatures swimming around this very Colorful reef System then we could name. Just some of them were the Spotted Spiny and Caribbean Spiny Lobsters, Red Reef Hermit Crab, Basslets, Blennies and Rays. After our breakfast we spend some underwater time at 3 Peaks Reef where we saw Hundreds of Garden Eels, Yellowhead Jawfish, Spotted Moray Eels, Green Moray Eels, Caribbean Reef and Nurse Sharks. A Shallow Reef known as Parrotfish was next. A Plethora of Tropical Fish and Creatures here was well as Nurse Sharks and of course Parrotfish. Our last couple dives in the Exuma Park were on Danger Reef. While swimming around Danger reef we saw Huge High Profile Coral Heads where a large Varity of Creatures Hide. Some of what we saw Horse-Eye Jacks, Snappers, Tangs, Parrotfish, Spotted Moray Eels, Nurse Sharks and Caribbean Reef Sharks.

Thursday December 15th
We departed Danger Reef and the Exuma Park in the early morning hour, making our way back to the Northern Exuma Islands. Most of our day today was Wall Dives. The three walls that we visited were Blacktip Wall, Pillar Wall and Jewfish Wall. While diving these walls we enjoyed Swim Thru’s, Canyons, Black Coral, Colorful Sea Whips and Sponges, Arrow Blennies, Stingrays, Mackerel, Jacks, Turtles and a few Sharks.
