After boarding guest enjoyed a wonderful dinner while making a smooth ride to the Exuma Islands.
Sunday January 8th
Due to some Extreme Winds, we were not able to get into the water today. However we made the best of what Mother Nature gave us by traveling to the Island of Eleuthera To Be In Position To Start Diving As Soon As The Weather Allowed.
Monday January 9th
Cave Rock was where we started the day. A wonderful shallow site where gust made sure their buoyancy and camera equipment was ready. While checking everything we swam with schools of Snappers, Grunts, Jack, saw Lobsters and several Stingrays. For the midday it was Cut & Run. I really like this dive we can enjoy in the shallow, the wall or both. Which enjoying both is what we did seeing Mackerel, an Anchor stuck in the wall Encrusted with Colorful Corals and Sponges. Add some Black Coral, Sea Whips, Banded Coral Shrimp and a small plane Wreck, all made for some good dives. To finish the day we headed back to Cave Rock and enjoyed Red-Tipped Sea Goddess and a Nassau Grouper taking a small bite at an Octopus. The Octopus got away unharmed, this time.
Tuesday January 10th
Some of what we saw on our first dive today at Hole In The Wall was Several Big Barracuda’s that came up close, Parrotfish, Angelfish, Large Caribbean Spiny Lobsters and Mackerel. Next were Banded Coral Shrimp, Schools of Snappers, Jacks, Roughtail Stingrays and Hawksbill Turtles. The late afternoon and night was on Kracken. So much Marine Life to enjoy on this dive site. Some of what we encountered was Lettuce Slugs, Sand Tilefish, Cowfish, Rays, Spotted Moray Eels and Reef Octopus.
Wednesday January 11th
We started our day diving with Caribbean Reef Sharks on Split Coral Head. This dive sites offers a beautiful wall or a huge shallow coral head, both covered with Marine Life. But it’s all the Caribbean Reef Sharks that swim up close to everyone. The aquarium like dive site called Jake’s Hole was our afternoon and night dive. Jake’s Hole is one of the crews favorite dive site. The site is full of colorful hard and soft corals, Jawfish, Rays, Eels, Angelfish, Tiger and Nassau Groupers, Octopus and Squid.
Thursday January 12th
Our last day in Eleuthera started on Cut Thru City. Everyone enjoyed lots of Swim Thru’s and Canyons, Hundreds of Garden Eels, Yellowhead Jawfish, Huge Black Grouper, Channel Clinging Crabs and Sharks. Primo Wall was our after lunch dive. Underwater on Primo Wall we saw lots of Stingrays, Barjacks, Snappers, Schools of Ocean Triggerfish, Porcupinefish, Sharks and Octopus. We finished the day on Tunnel Rock swimming with. Yellowhead Jawfish, Night Shrimps, Channel Clinging and Yellowline Arrow Crabs, Rays, Lobsters and Octopus.
Friday January 13th
Our last dive of the week was Barracuda Shoals. Guest and crew enjoyed Colorful Corals, Crabs, Shrimps, Rays, Lobsters, Schooling Fish like Jacks, Snappers and Grunts, Caribbean Reef Sharks and Hawksbill Turtles.
