Thursday January 19th

This week, we welcomed aboard visitors coming from United Kingdom, Finland, Germany, USA and Singapore. We picked them up from Baltra Airport and the Itabaca Channel in the morning and headed out to a briefing and to get ready for our check dive in which we saw stingrays, sea turtles, sea lions and tropical fish.

Friday January 20th  

On Friday, we had two dives in Punta Carrion north side of Santa Cruz Island. We saw mola molas, mantas, mobulas, hammerhead sharks, tiger sharks, sea lions, sea turtles, orcas, moray eels and tropical fish.

After them, we went on a land tour in Bartolome Island where we could see a volcanic and pristine landscape from the top of the walking trail.

Saturday January 21st

We reached Cabo Marshall to dive with mantas, hammerhead sharks, black tip sharks, white tip wharks, sea turtles, sea lions, barracudas, moray eels and tropical fish.

Sunday January 22nd

On Sunday we went to Wolf, one of the most famous islands in Galapagos. Here, we could see hammerhead sharks, dolphins, Galapagos sharks, turtles, sea lions, moray eels, eagle rays, barracudas, orcas, tunas, jacks, scorpions and tropical fish.

Monday January 23rd 

Around Darwin and Wolf we had other interesting dive times, in which we saw hammerhead sharks, silky sharks, Galapagos sharks, dolphins, sea turtles, bonitos, jacks, moray eels, scorpions and tropical fish.

Tuesday January 24th

Going down south, at Cabo Douglas and Punta Vicente Roca, Tuesday gave us the chance to see other variety of the marine life: we could swim with marine iguanas, bat fish, sea turtles, sea lions, sharks, stingrays and tropical fish.

Wednesday January 25th

On Wednesday, after a night navigation going east, we could visit Cousins’ Rock. It was waiting for us with sea lions, white tip sharks, sea turtles, barracudas, moray eels, eagle rays and tropical fish.

 

Later on, we went to visit the highlands of Santa Cruz to see the famous giant tortoises: the Galapagos were peacefully walking around the place, in the wild.

Thursday January 26th

 

We finished our cruise with the satisfaction of a great week on board. Thanks again for joining us along the Galapagos Aggressor, we will be waiting for another visit when you wish to come back... and we hope it is very soon!
