Saturday Feb 4th
All guests boarded in the afternoon. Refreshments on arrival, passenger safety briefing and dinner served onboard. Late evening departure. Travel overnight to Lighthouse Reef.
Sunday Feb 5th
Travel from the Night mooring to Julies Jungle dive site on Long Caye for two check dives. All the divers were happy with their equipment. Divers found an Eagle Ray, many moray eels and numerous barracuda at this wall dive site. After lunch a short journey to “Site X” for two afternoon dives and a night dive. Divers found flamingo tongue cowries, swimming crinoids plus a juvenile spotted drums.
Monday Feb 6th
After spending the night within Lighthouse Reef Lagoon. The Aggressor headed to Half Moon Caye Wall dive site. Two morning dives. Caribbean reef sharks, a nurse shark, large midnight parrotfish plus friendly groupers greeted divers. During lunch, the Aggressor moved to the northwest of Long Caye. Two afternoon dives here and the divers found another nurse shark and large schools of big-eyed jacks, barracuda and Bermuda Chubb. A night dive at the same site. The night dive was colorful with squid, octopus, both spiny and slipper lobsters plus crinoids, basket stars and neck crabs.
Tuesday Feb 7th
Another night spent at the mooring within the Lighthouse reef lagoon. After breakfast and with North East breezes, the Belize Aggressor meandered northwards through the reef breaks and arriving at The Great Blue Hole dive site. One group dive at this site, where the divers enjoyed viewing the stalactites, which dropped from the edge of the caverns. A Belizean natural monument. Congratulations to Ilse on completing her 900th dive.
After the dive, The Aggressor retraced its path southwards and towards Half Moon Caye. Many guests chose to board a water taxi and have an island tour of Half Moon Caye with its bird sanctuary. Red breasted Boobie birds and frigate birds nesting.
After the guests returned onboard and during lunch, the Aggressor headed back towards the north of Long Caye. Two afternoon dives plus a night dive at Painted Wall dive site. An excellent wall dive with Eagle Rays, schooling Chubb, Wrasse, free-swimming moray eels, Caribbean reef shark, Eagle ray and southern stingrays. The night divers located basket stars, squid, and Octopus and moray eels.
Wednesday 8th February
After staying again at the night mooring, Belize Aggressor headed to the West of Long Caye. Two morning dives at Long Caye Ridge and two afternoon dives at the nearby Long Caye Wall dive sites. Divers encountered a huge Eagle ray and one diver group was visited underwater by a large pod of bottlenose dolphins. Hawksbill turtles, nurse sharks plus Caribbean reef sharks were also seen. Macro photographers found sea hares, camouflaged neck crabs and flamingo tongue cowries. The night dive was also completed at the Long Caye Wall dive site. Tarpon, squid, octopus and huge crabs met the dive group.
Thursday 9th February
With a light North- Easterly swell, the Belize Aggressor headed to the south of Half Moon Caye. Two morning dives within the marine park at Chain Wall dive site. Divers interacted with Eagle rays, turtles, large friendly groupers plus inquisitive Caribbean reef sharks approached divers. Large schools of creole wrasse plus southern stingrays and three nurse sharks were also seen. As Belize Aggressor left the mooring, we were again escorted by a pod of dolphins.
Two afternoon dives plus a night dive were completed at Silver Caves dive site on the northwest of Long Caye. Divers found nurse sharks, neck crabs and the photographers found a seahorse.
After a night dive, the Aggressor headed back westward towards Turneffe Atoll. The evening entertainment was the presentation of the weekly charter video, filmed by Instructor Daniel.
After waking up at Sandy Slope dive site. An early morning dusk dive plus the final dive of the charter week brought much aquatic life. 4 Eagle rays, two nurse sharks and mantas breaching the sea surface.
After Friday’s morning dives, Aggressor III headed back to port. The evening barbecue, wine and cheese preceded the evening’s entertainment of a photography slideshow of all the guests. Following that show reel of great underwater photos collated throughout the week was an Award presentation to the following divers.

Saturday 11th February
At 8:00AM on Saturday, the crew said their farewells to the guests departing the Beautiful Belize Aggressor III.
