Thursday March 2nd

This week, we welcomed aboard visitors coming from USA, India, Hungary, Switzerland, Australia and Canada. We picked them up from Baltra Airport and the Itabaca Channel in the morning and headed out to a briefing and to get ready for our check dive. We saw sting rays and sea turtles.

Friday March 3rd  

On Friday, we had two dives in Punta Carrion north side of Santa Cruz Island. We saw mola molas, mobulas, hammerhead sharks, white tip sharks, sea turtles, octopus, scorpion and tropical fish.

After them, we went on a land tour in Bartolome Island where we could see a volcanic and pristine landscape from the top of the walking trail.

Saturday March 4th

We reached Cabo Marshall to dive with hammerhead sharks, manta rays, moray eels, white tip sharks, barracudas, black tip sharks, eagle rays and tropical fish.

Sunday March 5th

On Sunday we went to Wolf, one of the most famous islands in Galapagos. Here, we could see hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, jacks, dolphins, tunas, sea turtles, eagle rays, octopus, moray eels and tropical fish.

Monday March 6th 

Around Darwin and Wolf we had other interesting dive times, in which we saw hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, scorpion fish, sea turtles, moray eels, sea lions, barracudas and tropical fish.

Tuesday March 7th

Going down south, at Cabo Douglas and Punta Vicente Roca, Tuesday gave us the chance to see other variety of the marine life: we could swim with hammerhead sharks, bat fish, sea lions, sea turtles, stingrays, mola molas, salemas, sea turtles and tropical fish.

Wednesday March 8th  

On Wednesday, after a night navigation going east, we could visit Cousins’ Rock. It was waiting for us with sea lions, sea turtles, white tip sharks, barracudas, eagle rays and tropical fish.

 

Later on, we went to visit the highlands of Santa Cruz to see the famous giant tortoises: the Galapagos were peacefully walking around the place, in the wild.

Thursday March 9th  

 

We finished our cruise with the satisfaction of a great week on board. Thanks again for joining us along the Galapagos Aggressor, we will be waiting for another visit when you wish to come back... and we hope it is very soon!
