Another beautiful week in Belize on the aggressor IV! This week we welcome a total of 19 guest aboard.
Roman, Marc & Patricia, Michael, John & Nancy, Elena & Irina, Lisa, Kimberly, Owen & Linda, Tom, Dave, Stephane, Jim, Chris & Christine & the famous Underwater Professor, Mike Haber.
A very special week, most of this group were all photographers, and all happy and excited to be here.
Once they were all settle in and feeling at home, we did a safety briefing ending with a fun abandon ship drill, followed up with dinner, not long after, we departed out to the atolls of light house reef in Belize.
Sunday morning was full of expectations’ and enthusiasm, we started the week of diving at Julies Jungle, a perfect site, with a shallow reef, sandy areas and good visibility, also a few cuts and grooves in the wall that provide nice swim through, before the day was over many photos were taken, smiles and contentment abounded.
This week we dove near Hat Caye Island, Long Caye Island & Half Moon Caye Island, weather condition were really good, so we were able to do five dives every day, at Half Moon Caye we saw our famous Logger Head Turtle, a few Reef Sharks, Sting Rays, Spotted Eagle Ray’s and many friendly Groupers, this reef is very unique, it’s the outside wall of the Atoll.
Expectations was elevated for the Great Blue Hole, and once again we were able to deliver, great photos and videos were taken of the majestic Stalactites and enjoyed by all.
The entire week was full of activity, Lectures, diving, editing, games and a lot more, of course the motto is right, Eat Sleep & Dive, then we add more. the reef was full of activity as well, with many creole wrasses in cleaning stations, groupers, Shark, tarpons, big schools of Horse eye Jacks, Spotted Eagle Ray and a few Green Moray, free swimming on the reef,
Great week of diving, but most importantly, the friendship and memories that was made and share.
The underwater professor lectures, was overwhelming and very inspiring, and very noticeable and enjoyed by al in photos that the participants took during the week, but I do think that the hugs were the best, especially Dave’s, we want to say thank you to all our guest in the most respectful and humble way, for joining us on this special week of Mike & Mike, and being a part of the Jim Church underwater photography, Here on the Belize Aggressor IV. Until next time, but most of all be safe.
