Saturday September 16th
The Belize Aggressor IV welcomed her guest onboard. After guests were settled in and we finished our Welcome Aboard Briefing, the Belize Aggressor departed for her first dive site in the morning, Julies Jungle.
Sunday September 17th
Julies Jungle is the dive site where guest checked their buoyancy, made sure their
camera equipment was working properly and made the first bubbles of the charter.
Conditions were good, low wind and warm water to swim on a beautiful reef with
Angelfish, Blennies, Ocean Triggerfish, Moray Eels and Tarpons among others. In the
afternoon we moved to Eagle Ray Wall where besides enjoying Sunray Lettuce Coral,
Thin Finger Coral and Gorgonians we saw Green Moray Eel, Juvenile Spotted Drums,
Sharks and Eagle Rays. Nice way to start!
Monday September 18th
Lighthouse Reef was on Monday morning dive site, diving with Nassau, Tiger and Black Groupers, Caribbean Reef Sharks, French and Queen Angelfish, and Barracudas. In the afternoon, we enjoyed in Long Caye Wall seeing Very Friendly Groupers and Spotted Eels, Scorpionfish, Green Moray Eels, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Octopus and Squid.
Tuesday September 19th
Today our dive sites were Half Moon Caye Wall and Painted Wall. Some of the things things we encountered while diving these sites were Bluebell Tunicate, Flounders, Loggerhead Turtle, Reef and Nurse Sharks, Spotted Eagle Rays, Arrow Blenny, Sailfin Blenny, Squid.,,and the colours of the sponges and the wall.
Today we made happy many of our guests. We went to the famous Blue Hole where
they enjoyed its stalactites and the great sensation of a deep dropping wall. We
finished our day on Silver Caves with Spotted and Green Moray Eels, Silver Sides,
Tiger and Nassau Groupers, Snappers, Neck Crabs, Colorful Sponges, Reef and Nurse
Shark and Loggerhead turtle.
Cathedral was number one for the day. Some of what we saw while enjoying this
beautiful reef was Four-Eye Butterflyfish, Blennies, Groupers, Snappers, Neckcrab,
Flamingo Tongue and Shark. Then we headed to Front Porch by Turneffe island, where
we enjoyed Schools of Tropical Fish, Green and Spotted Moray Eels, Hawksbill Turtle,
Colorful Corals, Eagle Rays and White Spotted Toadfish.
Sandy Slope was our final dive site. Diving Sandy Slope is exploring a fish nursery with such a huge variety of Juvenile fish, Spotted and Green Morays Eels, Several Types of Stingrays and a wonderful mix of Corals . A nice way to say good bye to a wonderful week of diving!
