Roatan Dive Sites

Diving Details:

  • Remote sea mounts, wrecks, plunging walls, beautiful coral reefs, turtles, moral eels, Southern Sennets, manta rays, whale sharks and more
  • All dives from mothership
  • Water temperature: 78-84F, 25-28C (summer months) 75–80F, 24-27C (winter months, with possible 72F, 22C drop in January)
  • 3-5 mm wetsuit recommended

  • 7-night charters:  up to 27 dives

  • 10-night charters: up to 42 dives


Capt. EddyCaptain Eddy Anderson (1st Captain)
Eddie is a local boy having been born and raised on the island of Roatan. His family has been living in the islands for generations and island life is the norm for Capt Eddie. He starting to dive at a very young age and has explored just about every inch above and below the island of Roatan. Eddie has been a part of the Aggressor family for over 15 years. Having operated the Bay Islands Aggressor 3 & 4, Utila Aggressor, Sea Dancer, and Belize Aggressor IV.

Known and loved by many past guests Eddie’s sense of humor, local knowledge and super friendly personality is legendary in the dive industry. We are very blessed and privileged to have Captain Eddie as our 1st Captain.

Eddie says: He’s happy to be back diving in his own local waters and can't wait to show new and long time friends the incredible dive sits of the Bay Islands.
Capt John StaberJohn Staber (Second Captain)
I was born in Norfolk, Va. and lived up and down the Atlantic seaboard, finally settling in Wrightsville Beach, NC. I love the ocean and I am involved in a variety of water sports. I have been certified in scuba since the eighties. I Graduated from University of NC Charlotte, with a degree in history. I also attended culinary school in NC. I have been working for Aggressor Fleet for 7 years. I have worked on the Turks & Caicos Aggressor, Cayman Aggressor, Kona Aggressor, and presently on the Tropic Dancer Palau and am now proud to be the 2nd Captain of the new ROATAN AGGRESSOR™.

John Bodden 
(Chief Engineer)
John B is a native of Utila, his family having lived there for over 150 years. He joined the vessel upon it's completion in 2011 and has been onboard ever since. A true native, John loves sailing his home waters and knows the islands like the back of his hand. Always smiling with a quick sense of humor. He is always ready to fix a issue onboard, fill your tank or lend a hand on the dive deck.

John says: ”com un doon en enjo the beaute” of  all the Bay Islands with us. 

Willie S Waterhouse (Scuba Instructor)
Willie’s local family are 5th generation settlers of the islands of Utila. A family tradition of seafarers, it was known a long time ago that Willie would be spending his adult life enjoying making a living from and enjoying the ocean.

Dont let Willies size fool you! He may be a gentle giant of a man but his eye for finding the smallest of critters is astonishing. Always ready to go “Divin”
Willie makes for a great dive buddy anytime of day and knows each and every dive site like its in his back yard. Oh it is!

Willie says:  Lets go divin and if its down there we will find it ..

Gerardo E Tapia   (U/W videographer/instructor)
Originally from Spain  “G”, as he is known onboard, has been living and diving the Bay Islands for the past 14 years. He is a dedicated professional scuba instructor. His calm, reassuring demeanor is comforting and is welcomed by his many students.  G is also a skilled U/W videographer with a keen eye for the unusual enabling him to create a dynamic cruise video for our guests each week.

Dorian Armangau
  (Chef de Cusine)

We are very fortunate to have a qualified French chef onboard to spoil us with his delicious temptations. Dorion comes from the city of Perpignan in the South of France. Having perfected his skills in several restaurants throughout  France, Australia and Mexico, Dorian is experienced in a wide range of regional cuisines.

His forte is desserts having been trained in the art of French Pastries. We all look forward to each and every meal.

Dorian says: He is waiting to spoil you with his local flavored meal creations and to make make sure you remember his culinary delights from your vacation onboard the Roatan Aggressor,

Franklin A Brooks

Franklin hails from the city of LaCeiba on the  mainland of Honduras. He is a qualified professional  steward with over 20 years experience working for several luxury cruise lines and on many private yatches all over the world.

His passion and dedication for presenting his cabins is expectional. He takes much pride in his work and it shows throughout the vessel.

Franklin is also a qualified mate in the engine room and holds a chief steward rating. His wife Jackie and daughter  Kimberly lives locally and are very happy that he is working in the local Bay Islands.

Franklin says, He’s excited and his looking forward to welcoming all new guests and  to see many long time friends onboard the Roatan Aggressor soon.
