Sri Lanka is very close to the Equator which means that temperatures remain fairly constant year-round. Coastal and lowland areas enjoy an average daytime temperature of 78-86°F / 26–30°C. Sri Lanka is unusual as it has two monsoon seasons with the wettest periods being December and January in the North. Humidity is high everywhere throughout the island.

Marlon Buultjens
Marlon Buultjens – Camp Director

Marlon is extremely passionate about nature and wildlife. While having completed his Bachelors degree in Natural sciences, he worked as a nature guide. In his early career he gained hospitality experience in several five star boutique hotels and campsites throughout Sri Lanka. He has superlative knowledge and keen eyes for spotting wildlife are some of his expertise.
Pradeep Kumara
Pradeep Kumara – Head Guide

In his early career, Pradeep, started working as a professional guide. Over the last 16 years he has gained experience in the majority of all the main national parks in Sri Lanka. He is excited to be working with Aggressor Safari Lodges. His hobbies include bird watching, exploring nature, and photography.
Vishwa Wijesooriya
Vishwa Wijesooriya – Marketing & Accounts Manager

Vishwa started out his career working in the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka as a backend accounts manager in the casino and gaming industry. He then decided to join the Aggressor Safari Lodge operations team in Sri Lanka. He has a passion for following European league football.
 Kalum Silva
Kalum Prasad Silva – Head Chef

Kalum has worked as a chef for many of Sri Lanka’s five star hotels. He also worked as a head chef for two years on a Maldives live aboard dive yacht. Hobbies include food and ice sculpting, playing cricket, and swimming.
 Ruwan Hemachandra
Ruwan Hemachandra – Kitchen Helper.

After high school graduation, Ruwan has worked in the hospitality industry in eco hotel in Sri Lanka before joining the Aggressor Safari Lodge. His hobbies include cycling and being outdoors.
Nuwan SanjeewaNuwan Sanjeewa – Kitchen Helper.

Nuwan was born and raised in the local Wilpattu area. He then went on to working in the garment industry for several years before joining the Aggressor Safari Lodges. He hopes to expand his knowledge of the hospitality industry while working at the lodge. Nuwan has a passion for hiking and being outdoors.
Ruwan Fernando
Ruwan Fernando – Transfers/Transportation

Ruwan started out his early life an electrician for 5 years. Five years ago he entered the travel and tourism industry and now owns and operates his own tourist transfer company with small town cars and buses. His hobbies are swimming and exploring wildlife safari’s.
Naleen BandluNaleen Bandlu – Supervisor.

Naleen was born and raised in the local Wilpattu area. He has over 15 years of experience working in the hospitality industry. His experience focused on working in a wide variety of Eco Tourism hotels in Sri Lanka. His hobbies include the catch and release of snakes and is an avid bird watcher.

Chamil Asanka – Groundsman/Steward.
