Saturday 18th April

Today is arrival day and with great

excitement we welcomed 13 new

guests from Brazil, Germany, Austria,

Italy, UK and USA

We enjoyed a great dinner together in

the tranquillity of Benoa Harbour

before setting sail later in the evening

for Padang Bay.


Sunday 19th April

Water Temp: 24-27


We reached Padang Bay at just after

7am and with great excitement geared

up for our check out dive at Gili

Tepekong. A great dive sadly no Mola

Mola but we did get a juvenile banded

sea snake as well as a large dog-toothed tuna.

After breakfast it was time for our

second and final dive of the day.

Mimpang is three separate pinnacles

joined underwater by slopes and

walls. Highlights included cuttlefish,

white tip sharks and a wide array of

schooling fish.

We then started heading for Moyo

Island the location of tomorrows


Sunday 19th March

Air Temp: 31

Water Temp: 28

Visibility: 20+

Having travelled have the day

yesterday and all night we finally

arrived at Moyo Island just after 6am.

We began our day diving Angel Reef

spectacular coral and an incredible

wall greeted us. Highlights were 3

spotted eagle rays, black tip reef shark

and a large banded sea snake.

After breakfast we dived Long Reef a

fabulous seamount over flowing with

life. Highlights included eagle rays,

scorpionfish and schooling Jacks and

We then began moving towards

Satonda Island whilst our guests

enjoyed lunch. We reached Satonda at

about 2:30 in perfect time for our

third dive at Black Magic Rock.

Highlights were many painted

lobsters, cuttlefish, picturesque

dragonets and hairy squat lobsters.

We then visited Satonda Island and its

beautiful lake after which we took a

sunset cruise to watch the flying foxes

depart Satonda heading out looking

for food on the island of Sumbawa.


Tuesday, 20th April

Visibility: 10-15

We arrived at Sangeang volcano just

in time for our morning dive at Hot

Rocks. Due to strong currents we

decided to do both dives on the same

site. Highlights included orangutang

crabs, nudibranchs and pygmy

After our second dive we headed for

Banta Island where we dived a site

known as K2. A great wall and slope

dive on a highly productive and

beautiful reef.

Tonight’s night dive is at Circus a

great spot with a combination of sand

and reef. Highlights included

stargazers, bobtail squid, cockatoo

waspfish, free swimming morays and


Wednesday, 22 April

Air Temp: 31

Water Temp: 25-28

Visibility: 15-20

Our first dive of the day was at

Lighthouse Reef. A beautiful slope

with superb coral highlights included

scorpion leaf fish, scorpion fish,

hawksbill turtles and white tip reef

After breakfast we dived Crystal Rock

a great pinnacle dive with black and

white tip sharks, turtles, Giant

Trevally and schooling jacks.

We then moved into Gili Lawa durat

Bay and dived GLD passage highlights

included a bamboo shark, leaf

scorpion fish and white tip sharks.

We then headed south to Padar island

the location of tonight’s night dive.

Highlights included bobtail squid,

frogfish and elegant squat lobsters.


Thursday, 23 April

Water Temp: 22

Visibility: 15-20

We did all three of our dives at

Langkoi the southernmost point of

Komodo Island. The dive site known

as the Alley never disappoints

highlights included a painted frogfish,

white tip reef sharks, bumphead

parrot fish, manta’s and dolphins. All

made diving in colder water

We then moved slightly north to

Lahsera Bay the location of tonight’s

night dive on the Phinisi Wreck.


Friday, 24th April

Water Temp: 24

Visibility: 10-15

We arrived at Nusa Kode just in time

for our first dive at Pelican Head a

great wall dive. Highlights included

turtles, marble rays, white tip sharks,

zebra crabs and nudibranchs.

Our second dive was at Yellow Wall a

great wall dive full of life. Highlights

were Coleman’s shrimps and a

painted frogfish.

After lunch we dived Cannibal Rock a

submerged pinnacle full of life.

Highlights included white tip sharks,

nurse shark, turtles, nudibranchs and

In the late afternoon we visited the

dragons on the beach and got an

opportunity to get up close and

personal with 8 dragons.

It was then time for the night dive at

Torpedo Alley. Sadly no Torpedo rays

tonight however a wide array of

nudi’s, crustaceans and ornate

ghostpipe fish ensured all divers

returned for dinner with smiles on

their faces.


Saturday, 25th April

We arrived at Padar Island in the early

hours of the morning and began our

day doing our first two dives on W

Reef. Three submerged pinnacles full

of life with highlights being Giant

frogfish, pygmy seahorses and

After lunch we dived Secret Garden a

beautiful reef and mini wall with

highlights of white tip sharks, mantis

shrimps and painted lobsters.

We then visited Padar Island for a

short hike to watch the sunset on the

beautiful Pink Beach.

It was then time for our night dive at

Padir Putih a great site full of frogfish,

leaf scorpionfish and a wide array of


Sunday, 26th April

Air Temp: 30

Water Temp: 26-27

Visibility: 10-15

We began our day diving Makasaar

Reef a great drift along a rubble

bottom visiting cleaning stations

looking for Mantas. We had great

encounters with Mantas and some

large green turtles.

After breakfast we dived Batu Balong

an amazing pinnacle dive overflowing

with life. Highlights included pygmy

seahorses, Napoleon Wrasse,

octopus, turtles, sharks as well as

schooling anthias, trevally and fusiliers.

After lunch we dived Siaba Kecil a fun

drift with great coral and lots of life.

Once again highlights included

Hawksbill Turtles, Great barracuda

and nudibranchs.

We then headed to Wainilu for our

final night dive of the trip. Highlights

were frogfish, zebra crabs, coleman

shrimp, giant mantis shrimp and

strawberry nudibranchs.


Monday, 27th April

Water Temp: 26-27

Visibility: 15

Sadly it’s our last two dives of the

cruise this morning. We began diving

Tatawa Besaar a graet drift dive with

healthy corals. Highlights included a

manta and an exquisite reef full of life.

We then dived Siaba Kecil a great site

to end a wonderful trip of diving.

We then took a slow cruise back to

Wainilu for our official dragon

trekking. We enjoyed a great hike and

saw many dragons.

It was then time to hoist the sails and

head for the port of Labuan Bajo.
