…17 divers from the USA, UK, and France joined us aboard the beautiful Belize Aggressor III. Guests began the boarding process around 3:00PM. Scuba equipment setup and each guest shown to their cabins. We had our welcome aboard briefing and champagne toast at 5:30PM.
Sunday September 27th
…We began our week of diving on Turneffe Islands Atoll. The weather was pleasant and the diving very good. Green & spotted moray eels, neck crabs, channel clinging crabs, 4 spotted toadfish, octopus, schools of squid, a spanish dancer, french angelfish, and great visibility throughout the day. After the night dive we motored a short 2 hours to Lighthouse Reef Atoll.
Monday September 28th
…SHARK!!! The day started with one of my favorite dive sites - Chain Wall. It has great sand canyons carved through the reef opening up to a magnificent blue water scene with caribbean sharks swimming figure eight patterns, nassau groupers hovering in the cleaning stations, gray angelfish guarding the turtle grass bed, spotted eagle rays gliding near the wall, schools of goat fish tilling up the sand in search of food, and lots of southern stingrays all just minutes away from the boat.
Tuesday September 29th
…We spent the day near the island of Long Caye. Enormous loggerhead turtles, spotted drum, eagle rays, painted tunicates, sergeant majors, bermuda chub, schooling horse eye jacks, and big barrel sponges were just a few of the encounters enjoyed by divers throughout the day.
Wednesday September 30th
…We began the day at the Great Blue Hole, then spent a little time on the island of Half Moon Caye with the red footed boobie birds and magnificent frigates. For the afternoon and night dives we encountered southern stingrays, 4-electric rays, blue parrot fish, midnight parrot fish, friendly nassau groupers, spotted eagle rays, pipe fish & pipe horse in the turtle grass areas, and those fun sail fin bennies on the block!
Thursday October 1st
…The weather switched to the Northwest, so we motored back to Turneffe Islands to begin the day of diving. Scorpion fish, turtles, green moray, a couple spotted eagle rays, and southern stingrays were seen throughout the day. The night dive was busy, white speckled nudibranch, lettuce sea slugs, spotted toadfish, yellow stingrays, caribbean squid, grass squid, juvenile octopus, and plenty of sleeping parrot fish.
Friday October 2nd
…We finished off the week with a dive at Myrtle’s Turtle. Once the diving was done, we made the journey back to Belize City. A few guests went on tours to see the Mayan Ruins and the Belize Zoo. Others stayed on the yacht and enjoyed a cold drink and relaxed. Our cocktail party began around 6:00PM.
…Congratulations to the following divers:
Iron Divers - Stuart, Sheldon, Kevin, & Deborah
SSI EAN40 Divers - Paula & Robert
PADI AOW Diver - Sheldon
Saturday October 3rd

…Well, that’s the week folks. On behalf of the crew - keep smiling and keep diving. And remember with Aggressor you always EAT, SLEEP, & DIVE!
