Saturday April 23rd
…16 divers from Beaver Divers of Colorado and a wonderful couple from the UK joined us aboard the Belize Aggressor III.  Guests began the boarding process after 3:00PM.  Each guest setup SCUBA gear and were shown to their cabins.  We had our welcome aboard briefing and champagne toast at 5:30PM.

Sunday April 24th
…The divers awoke to a hot breakfast and clear skies at Turneffe Islands Atoll.  The checkout dive commenced and WOW what a dive!  2 small sea horse, 4 pipe horse, 10 pipe fish, giant southern stingray, a couple turtles and that was just in the sandy areas.  The afternoon dives  were just as good.  Spotted eagle rays, green moray eels, loggerhead turtles, and the spotted toadfish were a few of the encounters.

Monday April 25th
…We motored to the Southern point of Turneffe where a manatee came by for a visit.  Cruising right beneath the skiff, then next to the ladders, finally taking a big breath and gently swam away.  If that wasn’t exciting enough, a pod of dolphins visited everyone for an entire dive!

Tuesday April 26th
…Another great day of diving.  Sharks, eagle rays, turtles, stingrays, a black sea horse w/white bands and blue parrot fish were seen during the day.  The night dive was off the hook - octopus, squid, schools of tarpon, long horn nudi-branch, and tons of big crabs.

Wednesday April 27th
…Friendly groupers, caribbean reef sharks, spotted eagle rays, barracudas, and southern stingrays occupied divers throughout the day.  During the night - octopus, arrow squid, crabs, pufferfish and the like could be seen right under the BA3.

Thursday April 28th
…The Great Blue Hole was the first dive of the day.  A 130FT profile to see those big stalactites, then a slow return back to the shallows to look for the small stuff.  Before lunch, a walk around the island of Half Moon Caye was made.  Resident Red Footed Boobie and Magnificent Frigate birds were viewed from the observation tower.  The afternoon dives yielded a brown seahorse w/white bands, harlequin pipe fish, wire coral shrimp, giant basket stars, huge lobster, horse eye jacks, and a goliath grouper.

Friday April 29th
…The final two dives were made with sharks, turtles, eagle rays, eels, and flounders winding down a fantastic week of diving in Belize.  The cocktail party commenced at 6PM and the following divers received awards:

Iron Divers - Patty, Ross, Casey, Paul
Milestone Diver - Patty (100), Jo (100)

Saturday April 30th
…Well that’s the week folks and at 8:00AM the crew said their good byes as the guests departed the Beautiful Belize Aggressor III.

EAT, SLEEP, & DIVE!
