This week the diving was really good as looks like we are having cold currents and a big change in weather, we had lots of rain but we were okay cause the diving made up for the rain, as you plunged into the sea the sharks were there like just waiting for you, hammerhead sharks were everywhere and there where time when they came right over your head. At time they were so close…….. You could reach and touch them…

Places like Alcyone, Dirty Rock and Manuelita had the most Hammerheads, there were also the Galapagos Sharks, we did Punta Maria where we had a cleaning Station for the Galapagos we had to just get there sit and enjoy the performance done by this huge Sharks once in a while a hammerheads would join them for a spin around the cleaning station then go, there were also a couple of places where we saw mantas, Dos Amigos and Manuelita, my old favorite Manuelita had pretty much everything and the most astonishing was the show put by the tiger sharks this week, those tigers were happy and they came and go like if they wouldn’t care for you, I got to see three at the same time and I know there were more cause I been here long enough to recognize some of them, a couple of times I came in close to these giants, some of these shark are amazingly big then when you get close they look at you with that black eye and you think “is this it”, but not they are a bit shy when it comes to pictures.

We had some thermos down to 75 degrees this cold current brings the marble rays and white tip sharks to shallower water stirring up the life making all the fish go crazy, we enjoyed every minute of these dives.

There was this once dive in Alcyone we were all doing the safety stop and I saw three people swimming off the group and I thought they were just goofing around but when we surfaced they were all fired up yelling Sail fish Sail fish they had seen one chasing after the mullet snapper and I missed it……

Amazing week, good people and good diving, perfect mix.

Stay tune for more
