Saturday June 4th

18 divers joined us aboard the Belize Aggressor III. Guests began the

boarding process after 3:00PM. Each guest setup SCUBA gear and were shown to

their cabins. We had our welcome aboard briefing and champagne toast at

Sunday June 5th

The winds switched around a bit, so we headed to the South end of Turneffe

Islands Atoll. There the checkout dives were made and Troy encountered a

Manatee!!! Of course other cool things like spotted eagle rays, nurse shark,

green morays, and plenty of cleaning stations. What a way to start the week

in Belize.

Monday June 6th

Chain Wall was rocking with caribbean reef sharks, eagle rays, southern

stingrays, and barracuda zipping by along the wall. The afternoon dives were

great as well. Sitings included the pipefish & pipe horse, flounder, our

resident : Friendly: grouper and picturesque swimthrus.

Tuesday June 7th

A big day of diving beginning at the Blue Hole and ending at Long Caye Wall

for a spectacular night dive. Pat and I were the only night divers, but wow

what a dive! It started with a caribbean reef shark right beneath the entry

area, a couple caribbean reef squid at 60ft, a nice intermediate spotted

drum, then quick look to my left and a giant loggerhead gave me a tap on the

shoulder swimming around for a few minutes while Pat captured some choice

video. Needless to say, the 70+ minute dive went by quickly with many more

Wednesday June 8th

More shark action at Tarpon Caves, then some shallow time at Painted Wall.

Beautiful colors and hundreds of sergeant majors, butterfly fish, and

schools of Bermuda chub all in 20ft beneath the BA3.

Thursday June 9th

Great day of wall diving with nice visibility for seeing those lobster,

channel clinging crabs, red hinds hiding in a barrel sponge, arrow &

decorator crabs hanging off the gorgonians, and a couple big sea horses in

60ft beneath the stern of the BA3.

Friday June 10th

The final two dives were made with all the usual suspects and ending a

fabulous week of diving in Belize. The cocktail party commenced at 6PM and

the following divers received awards:

Iron Diver - Pat

PADI EAN40 Diver - Alice

Saturday June 11th
