                            Welcome Aboard!
This week we happily & eagerly greeted our new family members from USA. After a welcome drink and being showed to their cabins everyone gathered in the dining area for the general boat briefing and introduction of the crew , while munching on our chefs exquisite mini pizzas and assortment of seasonal fruit . After setting up equipment and finishing some paperwork, they were free to visit the very mystical Port Ghalib at sunset hours. After our steak dinner it was time for a beer and a glass of local wine & off to bed.
Sunday June 26th
Day 1 started in Port Ghaleb and continued in Marsa Shoona and Trombi . A Continental breakfast at 7 am and we are set and ready to leave the harbor of Port Ghalib.. At 9 am wereached the bay of Marsa Shoona ,. The first dive is a boat to boat dive descending along the white sandy bottom of the bay; we reach the colourful wall covered with fire corals . Visibility is 20 to 25 m we enjoyed such a colorful dive with red sea groupers and butterly fishes , pipefishes and lion fishes , and big turtul . in the afternoon we sail northern to Marsa Trombi where we planned to spend our afternoon and night dive . The dive started visiting a pinnacle of coral covered in purple soft corals and surrounded by glass fishes , anthias , and damsel fishes . We continued the dive along and above a beautiful lagoon and coral garden with large school of goat and butterfly fishes , puffer fishes and red snappers . the night dive was beautiful we saw Feather star corals.and parrot fish  After Dinner we left to Brother’s Island.
Monday June 27th
Day 2 started in Little Brother Island . We sail all night to reach the offshore reefs of Brother’s Islands , forty miles away from the coast line of El Quseir . Sun is shining , sky is crystal clear , sea and wind conditions was good and itfeels like a perfect day for diving . A continental breakfast , dive briefing and at 7 am we are already in the water . A boat to boat dive descending into the south plateau and diving along the east wall of the island . We continued our dive along the east wall reaching the large gorgonian garden where plenty of beautiful fan corals create a magical atmosphere with clouds of anthias , large school of butterfly fishes , cornet fishes and snappers. in a scenario filled with cornet , lion and butterlfly fishes. Such a beautiful dive . The second dive was at the north platoeau Wesaw a big Manta ray and gray Reef Shark . It is time for lunch . Sun is higher in the sky and the early and late afternoon dive are dedicated to explore the depths of the North Plateau again.. A mild current is present , we descent and a large school of barracudas is hovering in the blue while a Hammer head shark swim in a circle just above the head of the plateau . Exciting . Purple and gold soft corals coloring the head of the plateau with a large school of banner butterfly fishes , cornet fishes following the bubbles of our divers.the last dive of the day was at ther south side of the island and it was nice drift dive we saw a grey reef shark. Late in the afternoon we left Little Brother island and moored in Big Brother, just a mile away .   
Tuesday June 28th
Day 3 started in Big Brother Island . Wake up at 6 am and we feel eager to dive again .in the South Plateau of Big Brother Islande started our first dive. We dive along the wall and visiting a couple of richful overhangs. We admired broccoli leather and black corals , school of fusiliers fishes , trevallies and tunas in theblue , school of black snappers , butterfly fishes and cornet fished and a beautiful scorpion fish quietly resting on the edge of the wall .The seconddive was one south also and befor we jump in the water we saw two big oceanic reef sharks every body was happy we dive with them for more than 10 minuts  . Early in the afternoon it is finally time to visit the wrecks of Numidia and Aida sitting on the North edge of the Island . Zodiac to zodiac dives and we descent along the reef where the Numidia wreck sits at a depth of 10mt/33ft until 70mt/240ft . The wreck sits in a vertical position facing the depth of the blue water . . We continued the dive with a couple of safe penetrations inside the engine room and cabines of the wreck . such an exciting day in Big Brother Island . At 6 pm it is time for dinner and for leaving the islands and reach the southern offshore reef of Daedalus.   
Wednesday June 29th
Day 4 started in Daedalus reef . We sailed southern all night to reach early in the morning the offshore of Daedalus reef . The early morning dive is a drift dive along the east wall where fan corals and black corals offer to our divers abeautiful drop off wall dive.first 5 minutes from the dive we saw two hammer head came from the blue and they stay with us almost the rest of the dive  .the second  dive we did also the same place and again we saw the hammer head every body was happy and we finished the dive along the reef waching the beautiful drop off and the nice corals. Late in the afternoon  our boat to boat dive give us the chance to spot a couple of napoleon rass,
Thursday June 30th
Day 5 started in Daedalus Reef . Bell rings at 6 am , sun rise at 5:30 and at 7 am we are already in our zodiacs ready to dive the North Plateau . Wind blows at 8 knots , sea conditions are pretty calm. The drop off walls of the north side offered us
Friday July the first
Day 6 started in Elphinstone Reef ... the firest dive was at the west side of the reef .the current was strong we did dreft dive from the north of the reef We then reached the richful south plateau where a school of fusiliers and sardines attracts a couple of jack and tunas over agarden of broccoli soft corals and clouds of anthias ; we continued the dive along the east wall reaching a large fan coral contoured by a couple of lion fishes and orange soft corals . This wall is simply beautiful and the rest of the dive is at slow pace admiring the orange , golden and violet colours of the soft corals enlightend by the soft morning rays . Breakfast and we did the second dive at the south plateau and it was like we are in a appointment with the dolphin we jumped in the water and we look down and there five dolphin sweeming it was great dive .after this beautiful dive  It is time for lunch and sail back to Port Ghalib. At 7 pm our cocktail party start . We celebrate our diving trip andiron divers of the week.
