Thursday August 11th

This week we welcomed aboard visitors coming from Switzerland and Belgium. We picked them up from Baltra Airport in the morning and headed out to a briefing and to get ready for our check dive. During the check dive we saw sea lions, stingrays and tropical fish.

Friday August 12th

On Friday, we had two dives in Punta Carrion north side of Santa Cruz Island. We saw sea turtles, stingrays and topical fish.

Later on, we had a land tour in Bartolome Island to see a volcanic and pristine land scape from the top.

Saturday August 13th

We reached Wolf Island to dive with hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, silky sharks, eagle rays, moray eels, jacks, tunas, bonitos, barracudas and tropical fish.

Sunday August 14th

On Sunday we went to Darwin, one of the most famous islands in Galapagos. Here, we could see whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, silky sharks, Galapagos sharks, moray eels, sea turtles, scorpion fish, jacks, dolphins and tropical fish.

Monday August 15th

Around Darwin and Wolf we had other dive times, in which we saw hammerhead sharks, silky sharks, Galapagos sharks, jacks, moray eels, scorpion fish, eagle rays, sea turtles, tunas and tropical fish.

Tuesday August 16th

Going down south, at Cabo Douglas and Punta Vicente Roca, Tuesday gave us the chance to see other variety of the marine life: we could swim with marine iguanas, bat fish, sea lions, sea turtles, scorpion and tropical fish.

Wednesday August 17th

On Wednesday, after a night navigation going east, we could visit Cousins’ Rock. She was waiting for us with white tip sharks, sea turtles, sea lions, barracudas, eagle rays, scorpion and tropical fish.

 

Later on, we went to visit the highlands of Santa Cruz to see the famous giant tortoises: the Galapagos were peacefully walking around the place, in the wild. It was a precious moment.

Thursday August 18th

 

We said our farewells to our guests, feeling a little bit sad that our group was leaving us, but having the sensation of a great week. Thanks again for joining us along the Galapagos Aggressor; we hope to see you again soon!
