Crew this week: Capt. Beto, Chefs Gerardo and William, Engineer Fabio, Steward Osayuki, Boat drivers and Divemasters Carlos, Waren and Xavier

This week we started with an easy crossing to the island, and the first dive after a delicious breakfast had some surprises as we encounter a couple of hammerhead sharks, don’t get me wrong, yes we have all the usual cast of fish all around you en every single dive I am talking about the snapper, grunts, goat fishes. Tile fish, lobsters, moray eel, jacks, damsel fish, soldiers, squirrels, surgeons, tangs and much much more but for some people, the Sharks and rays of Coco’s island are the main target so even when sometimes we are surrounded by the whole cast some people keep looking out there in the blue for the big pelagic….

Visibility started to be a bit low but as time went by it cleared out and towards the end of the week it came back to normal.

We had amazing dives in places like Dirty Rock, Punta Maria, Dos Amigos small, and Alcyone, but the one with the best action was my old favorite Manuelita, we saw pretty much everything in Manuelita, starting with the Hammerhead sharks, the tiger sharks, the Galapagos sharks and rays, hammerheads came over your head in all of these dive sites, but in Manuelita you could reach out and touch then if you wanted to, there were some amazing facts this week like having three birthdays, the time we had a whole group in the water and after the dive we found out that only one person got to see a Manta and she had pictures to prove it…. The fact that in the last day in the first morning dive one person missed the whale shark while everybody else saw it, good thing the whale shark showed up again in the second dive as a matter of fact there were two whale sharks in the same dive.. and of course this happened in the best site MANUELITA

Stay tune for more

Thanks to all of our guests. Alexandre, Axel, Dalton, Danny, Daniel, Erika, Franco, Gareth, James, Joao, Manuel, Murilo, Nicole S., Nicole K., Pablo, Ricardo, Robson, Sarah Tony and Vera For a great week of diving.
