its a lovely Saturday afternoon on Provedenciales, we are all gathered upon the Aggressor II having drinks and snacks. Once everyone is comfortable introductions are made, whilst we give everyone a run down on the boat operations and safety procedures followed by the 1st of the great evening meals served this charter. With dinner complete we settle in for the night ready for a superb days diving!

We awake to the aroma of fresh coffee and cooking breakfast and we make our way round to north west point, after eating our fill we set out on the first dives of the week at eel garden. After an excellent lunch we move over to amphitheatre this site has a spectacular wall and an abundance of aquatic life. Once the night dive is complete we have hot coco, some laced with rum and turn in ready for the next days diving.

Monday and we move to the dome, an iconic dive site in Turks and Caicios. We have lunch while we move to boat cove at West Caicos for the afternoon and night dive. We explore boat cove for the 3 late day dives, on the night dive we find, slipper lobsters, spotted drums, lionfish, reef and nurse sharks and an octopus.

Over night we move to Rock and Roll at french cay, a spectacular area with only a few dive sites but my what dive sites, this is a great area for encounters with the larger pelagics and the health and abundance of life is fantastic, we swim with the resident nurse sharks and have plenty of inquisitive reef sharks joining us for the dives. In the afternoon we cut across the Caicos bank and stop at arches, a beautiful untouched site off of south caicos, named for a large archway under the reef. We are joined by some small turtles here and the corals and fauna are spectacular. After the night dive we have some hot chocolate and turn in for the night.

Next morning we move the boat to Grand Turk in time for everyone to get up and enjoy breakfast before the first 2 dives at fish pond, the abundance of fish life here is breath taking and we are even joined by some eagle rays. Whilst we have lunch we move to a well know site here, McDonalds, this is a really fun site to dive, with sandy patches and fantastic formations with plenty of coral and life, lots of honeycomb trunk fish to be found here! The night dive is stunning here with such a healthy section of reef to explore.

Thursday morning and we move along to coral gardens, we have a couple of wonderful dives here, exploring all the myriad corals that have formed here whilst being bustled by the aquatic life going about their daily business. We have another scrumptious lunch prepared by our Chef Christy while we move to the next site mama nature, a beautiful site with all that nature has to offer, colourful fish, stunning coral plenty of sponge and fans a really great site for the afternoon and evening dives and spectacular for the night dive, after the hot coco we set off for south caicos.

We get up early for the first dive at Spanish chain, we do 2 dives here, this is a lovely site with sand troughs between the outcrops and an old chain laying taunt across the top of 2 of the troughs, plenty more of the unspoilt south caicos scenery here with a wide array of aquatic life to keep us company on the dives. At lunch time we head to west sand spit, a site not often visited, here the condition of the reef is pristine, corals fans and spounges are in abundance, we find nurse and reef sharks as well as hawksbill turtles and lots of lionfish, some of them much larger then normal. For the night dive we head to french cay and explore G-spot, a fantastic dive site with 5 resident nurse sharks of various sizes, these can make looking at anything for a perid of time interesting as they will come over to investigate and if possible eat what you are looking at.

In the morning we stay at G-spot and investigate this awesome site for the first 2 dives of the day. We have plenty of shark action and a fantastic posing turtle checks us out under the back of the boat for several minutes as we end the dive. Whilst we have lunch we head back over to west caicos and we move to Spanish anchor, there is a lovely sandy swim through channel here and loads of amazing photo opportunities, this is one of the goto dive sites on west caicos for our photo pro, with the colours from the channel and anchor making a wonderful portrait photo.

In the morning we move over to elephant ear canyon and have breakfast before the first 2 dives of the day. A fantastic site for the deep vistas along the wall and the small creatures in the sandy plateau hiding amongst the turtle grass. At lunch time we move over to gullies, named so due to having a number of gullies the major one being a very good swim through, we also have a large resident reef shark here that normally has up to 5 males with her. The wall here is ascetically very rewarding with plenty of aquatic life moving around their natural surroundings unconcerned by the scuba divers being nearby snapping photos.

To round this fantastic voyage off, we head back to northwest point over night and moor up at stairways, a superb site with an abundance of aquatic life living amongst the corals and rocks, once we have completed the last two dives we head back to turtle cove. Once we have eaten the awesome lunch prepared by chef Christy, its time for a bit of exploring and the at 6pm we all meet on the sundeck for a cheese and wine party where tales of the week are regaled and some special awards for achievements gained this week are awarded, Rosemary and Martin gained Nitrox certification, Julie Digital Underwater Photography and also Adventures in Diving with Don (as well as them both completing 100 dives while on board!!) and we have an Iron Diver Loralee who completed all the dives offered on this 10 day charter.

A superb 10 days has been had by all, we look forward to seeing you on the TCI Aggressor II soon.
