Saturday –8th October 2016 Day 1

On behalf of the Fiji aggressor crew, we would like to welcome our guest with a big BULA vinaka to Michael, Debra, Williiam, Michael, Deborah, Jody, Grace, Julio, Irene and Gerhard. They all arrived little after 1100am at the same time the crew assisted each guest to their designated cabin, while they settle with their cabin our Chef Eddie prepared lunch while we started our official crew introduction and safety briefing. At 1330hrs we departed jetty for Wakaya Island where we commence our check out dive


Sunday –9th October 2016

Check out dive at Manta rock Island we ring the bell at 0730am for dive briefing and its time to check the dive equipment and buoyancy to make sure that everyone is properly weighted. What a great way to start the day in a nice calm waters and somehow the breakfast tasted even better. 2nd dive at Blue ridge passage lots of critters an colorful soft coral and sea fan as we continued to swim along the wall grey reef, bumphead wrasse, grey reef shark and other reef fish were a permanent resident of this passage. 3rd dive at Lions den from here we could see grey reef sharks, tunas, moray eels, jacks, sea turtle and all the tropical fish. Next on the agenda for our 4th dive is Manta rock. The surrounding reef delighted us with a friendly turtle incredible visibility and a slight current that seems to bring out large schools of fish and even a scorpion fish resting on a nearby rock. We cruised during dinner over to Makogai bay for the night for sheltered.


Monday –10th October 2016

The condition are just right for the first dive and our entire guest were all gear up and ready jump in. Weather is great we saw oriental and diagonal sweetlips, the soft coral, black coral growth here is amazing with and lots of critters. After this dive we headed to Vatu ni sici little of everything black coral, soft coral, sea fans and many nudibranch as we all back from diving, guest were briefed about the plan of two dives


Tuesday 11th October 2016

Another great day of diving today 10/15knots of easterly wind we did 5 dives today The first two dives at Chimneys lots of fish life massive green moray eel, giant anemone, sea fans, grey reef shark, white tip, anemone, anthias and lots of damselfish, garden eels, decorator dart fish and juvenile sweetlips. North save a tack is always the best choice for afternoon dive when all the big fish usually moved in close to the main reef to feed. Grey reef shark, white tip, anemone, anthias and lots of damselfish down on the bottom they saw lots of garden eels, decorator dart fish


Wednesday 12th October 2016

We move down to Black forest for our first dive, one great thing about this site resident for many reef fish, spotted drums, plenty of snappers and the reef is extremely healthy at 15feet there were red anemone everywhere. 2nd dive at School house, school of banner fish, barracudas, jacks and grey reef sharks not only that school of bat fish were also amongst the beauty of this site. After this dive we heaved anchor and headed to North wall for our 3rddive, what a spectacular dive especially when we have a bunch of happy divers this trip. Mushroom is always the best choice for afternoon grey reef shark, white tip, anemone, anthias and lots of garden eels, turtle, decorator dart fish, bio color parrotfish,


Thursday – 13th October 2016

Our day began early, We splashed in right at 0730 AM and were greeted by a huge pods of fusilier fish, unicorn fish, grey reef, white tip, sea turtles, jacks, lots of groupers, black spotted sweetlips, Spanish mackerel, Tuna, moray eel at 65 feet sandy bottom that mix with rubble which most likely to be the favorite resting place for potatoe grouper and guitar shark with abundant of fish life. 2nd dive also produce the same results with additional sightings of moray eels, manta ray and eagle ray. Our third dive lots of macro life, reef fish, couple of grey reef, white tip, barracudas, surgeonfish an lots of unicorn fish along with fusilier fish. Rock mover wrasse, lyre tail hogfish, redfin hogfish, longnose hawkfish, roundhead, bowers, and steephead parrot fish were all over the place    

After this dive we started the main engine and headed to Somosomo village for village visit which our guest so exited about it, while they at the village the village elders performed a traditional ways of drinking kava and later entertained our guest with a Fijian dancing (meke) and meal tonight Fijian food cooked in the underneath oven…delicious. Roast pork, roast chicken, Palusami with coconut cream milk, marinated fish…yummy.


Friday – 14th October 2016

We awoke to another beautiful sunrise over the Island of Gau, nice and calm blue water. At Nigali wall - regal angelfish, spotted porcupine – fish, longnose filefish, longfin banner fish, grey reef, white tip sharks. 2nd dive at Nuku wall our guest saw school of jacks and barracudas, grey reef, white tip, Bumphead wrasse, lots of parrot fish, soft coral and many reef fish. As we headed back to Suva the crew started rinses all their dive gears and dried them before we arrives port

1545hrs – the Fiji Aggressor arrived in port

1800 hrs. – Cocktail was served


Saturday –15th – Lami jetty

0630hrs – continental breakfast was prepared for our guest prior to disembarking the vessel

The watermen of the Fiji aggressor bids farewell to the guest and hope that they have a safe journey back home to their loved ones and hoped we would meet again someday
