Another one of those crossing when we get to the island with enough time to have some rest before the morning dives, so we started the dives in chatham bay, our check out dive went just fine with lots of fish, good visibility and no current, we even got a Galapagos shark coming in close checking us up.

The next two dives in Manuelita were very good as the tiger sharks showed up and the hammerheads were getting clean, our guests really enjoyed this dives.

Next day we made over Punta Maria and Dirty Rock, both dive were good however the current was going really strong and the guests couldn’t have an enjoyable dive as they had to work a lot to just stay in the dive site.

There were places like Alcyone and Dos Amigos Small with tons of action, the schooling hammers happened to us every time we did Alcyone, the Galapagos Sharks went crazy in Dos Amigos small and a small eagle ray kept swimming among the divers.

We had to follow a schedule for the dive sites giving to us by the park rangers, so we must go by it, sometimes we call them up and they let us change places, this week we had some of the guest who did not want to dive Manuelita I was a bit confused cause Manuelita is one of the best if not the best dive site on the island, I fully understand when people want to get to the dive site but if you get here let us take you around, let show you the places and the best places for yo to get to see the big fish of Coco’s island.

By the end of the week our gang understood by just diving Manuelita that this is the best place in Coco’s island, so we got to see tons of hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, Tiger sharks, Manta Ray, marble rays and much much more, we had this one time when the Dolphins came to us they were in the shallows of Manuelita and the whole bay, they came in big groups seems that they were doing some kind of mating ritual.

The night dives were loaded with action white tip sharks were hungry and looking for their meal so they kept finding fish and going in feeding frenzy evertime.

This week we had a fair amount of rain and sun as we are in a transition between the rainy season and the dry season here in Costa Rica

Stay tune for more

Thanks to all of our guests; Phil, Patrick, Melanie, Gareth, Aleksandr, Alexandre, Amy, Andrew, Arlette, Catherine, Dominique, Kasey, Terry, Linda, Ryan Valerie and Jean Claude For a great week of diving.
