A week of well being, health and culinary delights began with a diverse group of divers joining us in the beautiful tropics today. We have a few return guests some avid cave divers and of course the man known as Chad a six foot four Louisiana man with a kool aid smile and an infectious laugh!!!
We head out in a crisp breeze as folks chat and crack a beer or two, Chef Christy with her faithful furry galley hand, Mike are whipping up some seared tuna and the Captain is up top taking us to mooring. Everything goes smoothly and our Canadian father son team are the first to retire to sleep and slowly lights fade as people make ready for the day ahead.
Dawn breaks clear and crisp, the smell of bacon and eggs fill the salon, gear is donned, bell is rung and the pool is open! Just another day on the TCAII. Perfect weather, gin clear water and inspirational self help speeches come to pass as not only the guests but the crew is eager to listen to our shiny bald headed fitness guru, Dan Miller, some might be a bit more enthusiastic as a few guests vow to never give up pasta or potatoes!! We steam over to west Caicos as BBQ ribs are inhaled by all.
O what a week it has been! 17 guests and crew, 27 dives, a hammerhead, loggerhead and all other usual suspects are spotted, photographed and discussed. This in combination with the aggressor fleets first ever lifestyle reset well being week makes for a unique and healthy change of pace. Dan’s lectures are given, dives are done, Bison energy bars and other vittles are eaten and all are happy. The days roll idyllic as we explore the reefs and scenic beauty of the Turks and Caicos.
We enter turtle cove Marina and ready for the wine and cheese party, guests relax, the crew, makes it all come together, and then, as it happens often here on this vessel, a wild and perfect sunset. We snack drink and toast to a great week, with new friends made and some amazing dives behind us we all smile and seek out our berths as sleep is much needed. And so it has passed, all to fast as always, a week of sunshine and smiles, infused with a healthy dose of lifestyle change and information it is over.
