Saturday  Guests trickled in throughout the afternoon and into the evening excited to settle into their new home for the week. The afternoon was spent unpacking and meeting new friends followed by dinner and a safety briefing before heading to bed.

Sunday We started the week out on the Doc Poulson for two checkout dives where we found turtles, a nice shipwreck, and a masked hamlet nearby. For the afternoon we headed to Babylon and saw a free swimming eel, neck crabs, and lobsters. It was a great start to our week of diving and we were looking forward to many more dives to come here in Grand Cayman.

Monday  As the winds were still blowing from the south west we stuck around Babylon for another dive to explore the pinnacle and shallow wall. After the beautiful dive the winds finally switched around to the north so we moved around the island to the south and enjoyed some Mexican food on our way into Kellys Caverns. Highlights here include a slipper lobster, elk horn coral, and swim throughs. We also got our first night dive of the week in and saw an octopus, squid, spotted drum, lobsters everywhere!

Tuesday Pedros Castle was first on our list of sites to explore for the day. Here we saw a moray eel, lettuce leaf sea slugs, and spent time both out on the pinnacles and up in the caves. Next we moved to Bullwinkle for one dive and were happy to find many schooling tarpon. Last for the day was back in west bay at Lost Treasure for one afternoon and a night dive where we saw squid, lobster, and old Spanish anchor, jawfish, a basket star, and all of the nudibranchs.

Wednesday   The weather was beautiful and sunny today so we headed over to Big Tunnels for a couple of dives to catch the natural light flowing down into the swim throughs. Here we saw a free swimming eel, lobsters, neck crabs, and a leopard flatworm. For the afternoon we waited patiently for our favorite spot to open up- Oro Verde. There was an abundance of turtles, free swimming eel, eagle ray, lobsters, squid, a seahorse, and free swimming flatworm all on our afternoon and evening dives.

Thursday Happy for one final full day of diving we headed over to the USS Kittiwake for a couple of dives spent exploring the massive shipwreck. After having our fill of wrecks for the day, we moved to Angelfish Reef for our remaining dives to see what critters we could find. There were many good spots by the best was of a juvenile trunk fish. When all were back from their dives we all sat down for a Thanksgiving dinner followed by the movie and photos from the week.

Friday  Friday has finally arrived and decided to spend it at Eagle Ray Rock for one dive at the start of the Cayman Trench followed by one dive at Devils Grotto where many opted for a quick snorkel. Once back from the dives we headed into the dock so people could explore town for the afternoon before gathering for our cocktail party on the sundeck.

Until Next Week
