The Dhoni Boat

Much of the diving in the Maldives is drift diving. Due to this all dives will be made from a  a beautiful custom built diving dhoni (60 feet in length) that is very easy to dive from. It has ample space for divers, their equipment, photography equipment, hot water, a full bathroom and 5 compressors:

Diving Details:
  • Diving in the Maldives is known for its diversity. From tiny nudibranchs and hard to spot ghostpipe fish, through eels, turtles, big schools of snappers, fusiliers and reef sharks to our favourite manta rays and whale sharks seen all year round.

  • The comfort of the guests is our priority therefore all the dives are conducted from a spacious and fully equipped dive Dhoni (Skiff).

  • Water temperature varies from 80F (27 Celsius) in wet season to 86F (30 Celsius) in dry season
  • 3mm wetsuit recommended

  • 7-night charters: up to 20 dives

  • 10-night charters: up to 28 dives



 

Branislav Tomasko - Cruise Director
Branislav Tomasko, known as TONY, was born in Slovakia and spent 30 years traveling the world.  He graduated in Hotel Management in Slovakia then worked in restaurants throughout Europe. While working in Spain, he discovered his love for the sea.  He got certified as a scuba diver, earned his unlimited Captains license then completed his Master Captains license for passenger ships less than 500 GT and 350 passengers.

He is a diving instructor with PADI MSDT, SSI, CMAS and an IAC advanced instructor with approximately 6500 dives, teaching courses in 6 languages:
Spanish, English, German, Russian, Czech and Slovak.

Tony has also a military background in Special Forces and worked as
a Manager for a private security company.The last ten years he has worked as a Captain, Dive Instructor, Diving Operations Manager and Liveaboard Leader in the Canary Islands, Spain, Malta, Egypt, Indonesia, Thailand and other resorts and liveaboards in the Maldives.

Captain Hussein

2nd Captain Beybe

Originally from Gampaha western Sri Lanka, he studied at Colombo international nautical & Maritime campus, he has about 18 years in engine/generator overall and maintenance.

He like very much his family time.

Junior Cruise Director/Dive Instructor Jeremie

From Aix-en-Provence in France, Jeremie decided to quit his office job and go back to his previous career as an engineer and pursue his dream of a life at sea. He joined the diving community in 2015.

With a good sense of humor, Jeremie is ready to give you the best diving experience. Jeremie has other passions such as paragliding, skydiving, fishing and free diving.

 

Dive Pro Ripon
Originally from Dhaka , Bangladesh, Ripon has worked in several Dive Safari boats as dhoni crew and compressor operator. He passed his diving course as a rescue Rescue Diver while at Emperor fleet and became a SSI Scuba Instructor and Dive Guide.  Next he plans to become a PADI Divemaster during the present season and will become full Dive Instructor soon. Ripon will be one of the first Bangladeshi nationals to reach this level

He is a great team member and hard worker. He can fix a regulator or a compressor at any time.

Dhoni Compressor Operator Alamin
Originally from Gupalgons , Bangladesh, Alamin studied at Aikdiya school in his home country. He moved to Maldives in 2012 to work on a construction team for a resort and then joined the Safari industry where he has developed his skills in Compressor Operation, maintenance and dhoni (tender) handling. Alamin is very well organized.
Chief Engineer Wanni

Wanni is from Mathale, Sri-Lanka, he completed his marine engineering diploma in Pakistan on 1997 and he has 12 years sea experiences in Sri-Lanka and 7 years on the Red sea.

Wanni likes to catch big fish!

1st Engineer Madhu

Originally from Gampaha western Sri-Lanka, Madhu studied at Colombo International Nautical & Maritime campus, he has about 18 years in engine/generator overall and maintenance.

He very much likes his family time.

Deckhand Alam

From Dhaka, Bangladesh, Alam studied at Aikdiya school, first he moved to Dubai as laundry worker before joining Maldives Aggressor as a deckhand.

Steward Sultan
Originally from Kumila , Bangladesh, Sultan studied Tourism on Lsilhet College with degree 11 and worked in the housekeeping department at the Lux in Maldives among other before joining Maldives Aggressor II last January 2018.
