Getting There, Passport & Visa Documentation:
There are many daily international flights available. Aggressor Detours is an authorized travel provider for the Cuba Travel Program and can book your airline travel reservations.For Jardines Aggressor I the airports to fly into are:
Santa Clara - Abel Santamaría Airport (SNU)
Varadero - Juan Gualberto Gomez Airport (VRO)
Havana - Jose Marti International Airport (HAV)
A passport must be valid for 6 months beyond your return date for your international flight. Some countries will require a Visa. As a traveler, you are required to obtain all necessary documents for entry requirements to your destination. Your Passport details must be current and exactly the same as the Letter of Authorization at the time of travel. (You will print the Letter of Authorization when completing the GIS prior to departing) Travelers are on a People-To-People Program.
The age limit for diving in Cuba is 15.
Arrival, Boarding & Departure
Embark/Disembark Jardines Aggressor IThe Jardines Aggressor I® liveaboard operates out of Zapata, Cuba. Guests arriving on Saturday early afternoon may be greeted at one of these airports; Havana International Airport, Varadero or Santa Clara (reservations through Aggressor Adventures are required). Transfers from all three listed airports are approximately 3.5 hours. Airport transfers are not included and must be reserved and paid prior to traveling. Guests should board mid afternoon until dinner. The yacht departs early Sunday am and navigates Zapata until Friday. After lunch Friday, the yacht travels back to Zapata where dinner will be served onboard.
Guests will disembark Saturday morning starting at 7:30 am for those traveling back to the Havana Internation Airport, Varadero or Santa Clara airports.
Local Fees/Taxes
Most all airlines will include the departure tax in the cost of the ticket, please verify with the airline carrier.
New January 20, 2023 Requirement
All guests must complete this online (3 minute) form prior to boarding your flight to Cuba and bring a copy of the QR code (form is also in English) https://dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu/inicio
Mandatory fees that will need to be prepaid prior to traveling are: $150 fuel surcharge, $120 conservation fee, and $240 port fee.
Optional fees that will need to be prepaid should you choose them are:

* $175 Scuba equipment package: Includes BC, Regulator, Dive Computer, Night Dive Light, Mask, Fins, Snorkel

* $75 Week - 100 cu ft tank
