Socorro, Roca Partida, San Benedicto (November - May)
8 Night Trips
Socorro, San Benedicto and Roca Partida are three volcanic islands that make up the Revillagigedo Islands. These islands are most commonly known as Socorro. Located 250 nautical miles south of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, it takes 24 hours to travel to this magnificent area. Socorro is best known for the wonderful encounters with giant pacific manta rays, where the mantas come to the divers and are happy to stay throughout entire dives. This isn't all you will see, there are up to ten species of sharks including whale sharks, silkies, silver tips, white tips and sometimes tiger sharks. Dolphin encounters are always thrilling and from January through March these islands are home to a migratory population of humpback whales that come to breed and have calves. Whale sharks are seen mainly in November/December and April/May. Divers may also observe many different behaviors of manta cleaning stations, Bottlenose dolphin, wahoo, tuna, marlin and smaller creatures like eels, nudibranchs and octopi. This is wild and unpredictable diving at its best!

Getting There, Passports & Visa Documentation:
Guests will fly into San Jose del Cabo Airport (SJD) the day before the charter start date. Most major US airlines fly directly into the San Jose del Cabo Airport (SJD) which is about a 45 minute drive from the airport to Cabo San Lucas, where the yacht departs from. It is highly recommended you stay at one of our host hotels close to the marina. Should you decide to not stay at a host hotel, be sure to book your hotel in Cabo San Lucas, not San Jose del Cabo.
Visitors must have a current passport, adequate funds to support themselves, and a return airline ticket. US citizens require a passport that must be valid for 6 months from date of entry. It is the travelers’ responsibility to ensure they have the proper visa to travel into each country on his or her itinerary as well as for re-entry and return to their country. Since regulations vary by country, contact your consulate or embassy of your country for the requirement.
If you are not a Mexican citizen you are required to have a valid passport. A copy will need to be emailed to the Aggressor Adventures office prior to the charter start date so we can forward to the Socorro Aggressor office to complete the ships manifest. Upon your arrival to Mexico you will need to complete a visa form which will be stamped by immigration officials and a copy has to be filed for each guest boarding the yacht.
