Arrival Day – Saturday 24^th  February 2024

The guests arrived at 3pm and were welcomed with a cold drink. After check in guests looked around the boat and relaxed enjoying the pizza made by our chef. The boat safety briefing took place and then dinner was served. After dinner, all equipment was set up and guests went to bed ready for a great week of diving to start!

Day 1 – Sunday 25^th February 2024

Guests were woken at 7.00am and enjoyed their hot breakfast while we waited for the approval from the coast guard to leave. Permissions granted the captain fired up the engines and we departed to our first dive site of the week. Guests enjoyed a hot breakfast and the general dive briefing.

Dive 1 – Poseidon Reef a mooring dive from the back of the boat. Reef right and back again. Marine life; clown fish, snappers, wrasses, butterfly and banner fish, blue spotted ray and scorpion fish.

Lunch was served and the captain crossed the shipping lane to Sha’ab Mahmoud.

Dive 2 – Beacon Rock another mooring dive from the back of the boat. Guests kept the reef and slope om the left then back again to the boat. Stunning reef with fantastic corals and home to 1000s of fish. Maximum depth 20m/60ft. Marine life; moray eels, 6 x stone fish including the rare pink stone fish, jacks, gobies and much more.

Snacks were served and guests relaxed before the night dive.

Dive 3 –  Night dive Beacon Rock, famous for its moray eels. Guests jumped from the back of the boat and explored the reef area around the boat. A fantastic dive. Guests saw; pink stone fish, very large moray eels, 2 x Spanish dancers, pencil sea urchins and much more. After the dive dinner was served and guests relaxed after a great first day!

Day 2 – Monday 26^th February 2024

Guests were woken at 6:00am and enjoyed their continental breakfast before dive 1.

Dive 1 – Dunraven Wreck one of the oldest wrecks in the Red Sea which sits completely upside down. Guests took a short tender ride and descended to the wreck. We explored the outside of the wreck and then entered via the stern which is like an empty cave. Guests saw large boilers and exited the wreck heading back to the beautiful reef and back to the boat. Guests saw large groupers, eels, stone fish and much more.

After the dive breakfast was served and guests relaxed while the captain moved the boat to Ras Mohamed

Dive 2 – Jackfish Alley  drift from the big boat. Guests all got ready and waited on the platform as the captain reversed the boat to the reef. Guests jumped in after each other and descended onto the reef. Keeping the reef right at 5m/15ft through a small swim through and continued along the main reef. Nice relaxing dive. Marine Life;

Lunch was served and guests relaxed before dive 3.

Dive 3 – Jackson Reef. One of the top 5 reef dives in the world. Guests jumped from the back of the boat and descended on to the amazing wall seeing 1000s of fish, a school of banner fish, trevallies, large tuna, clown fish and 2 turtles ? and  beautiful soft and hard corals like diving in an aquarium! A truly magical dive loved by all!

Snacks was served and guests relaxed before the night dive.

Dive 4 – Night Dive Gordon reef. Our guests jumped in from the boat and explored the coral garden around and under our boat. Current running slightly running making them fin a little bit a great night dive.

Dinner was served and guests relaxed before bed.

Day 3 – Tuesday 27^th  February 2024

Guests were woken at 6:00am and enjoyed their continental breakfast before dive 1.

Dive 1 – Thomas Reef A short tender ride away guests descended down and swam above the famous Thomas canyon before ascending back up to the reef which is covered in marine life and coral. Guests drifted around the reef seeing 1000s of anthias, jacks, barracuda and masked puffer fish.

After the dive the breakfast was served.

Dive 2 – Shark & Yolanda. A drift from the big boat. Guests jumped together and descended on to Shark reef which is covered is colorful soft and hard corals and 1000s fish. Schools of snappers, batfish and jacks amongst anthias, parrot, clown fish, eels and much more. Then over to Yolanda reef to see the remains of the Yolanda wreck with 100s toilets and bathtubs which are now an artificial reef covered in corals. Then to satellite reef which finishes with a large salad coral. A stunning dive and ranked one of the top 10 reef dives in the world.

After the dive lunch was served and guests relaxed before dive 3.

Dive 3 – SS Thistlegorm the wreck highlight of the week. This dive was a full tour of the outside guests saw the locomotives, the blast area, the stern with the large guns, impressive propeller back to the bow over past the coal tenders, the boilers over the holds to the winches into the bow holds then to the captains bridge. A great dive with a lot of marine life. Guests saw; scorpion fish, crocodile fish, nudi brancs, jacks, 1000s anthias, large napoleon wrasse and much more.

Snacks was served and guests relaxed before dive 4.

Dive 4 – Night dive on SS Thistlegorm a unique special adventure! We guided the guests an into a section of inside and around the decks of the wreck

Guests enjoyed dinner and relax before bed.

Day 4 – Wednesday 28^th February 2024

Guests were woken at 6:00am and enjoyed their continental breakfast before dive 1.

Dive 1 – SS Thistlegorm a full guided tour inside the wreck.. We jumped and followed the line to the wreck. We then entered the wreck in the lower hold 25m / 80ft and circled the lower level seeing all the trucks, bikes, plane wings and much more. Then to the upper level at 20m/60ft seeing even more impressive cargo 1000s rifles and much more. Then over the bow decks to see the marine life, through the captains bridge and back to our boat. An impressive dive like going through a WWII museum.

Breakfast was served and guests relaxed before the 2^nd dive

Dive 2 – Kingston. One of the oldest wreck in the Red Sea. The weather was beautiful and calm so the captain tied the boat on top of the wreck. We all descended down on to the wreck which had 100s fish on including large grouper, wrasse, trigger fish, angel fish and a rare red anemone. After the wreck we enjoyed the surrounding reef with large table corals and lots of marine life. Guests saw crocodile fish, large jacks, moray eel, butterfly fish, cornet fish and much more.

Lunch was served and guests relaxed before dive 3 and the Capitan crossed the shipping lane to Gubal Island.

Dive 3 – The Barge an old canal Barge sat at 15m / 45ft famous for its marine life. Guests jumped from the back of the boat and explored the area in and around the Barge looking for marine life. This dive did not disappoint guests saw the famous giant moray George and his family, white peppered moray, scorpion fish, crocodile fish, trumpet fish, 100s sergeant major , octopus and much more!

Snacks was served and guests relaxed before the night dive.

Dive 4 – The Barge night dive. Guests jumped from the boat and explored the reef looking for marine life. Guests saw shrimps, crabs, eels, clown fish, sleeping parrot fish and much more.

Guests enjoyed dinner and relax before bed.

Day 5 – Thursday 29^th February 2024

Guests were woken at 6:00am and enjoyed their continental breakfast before dive 1.

Dive 1 – Bluff Point, a short tender ride around the corner of the island. Bluff point Is known for the current bluffing and going in opposite directions and different depths. A very nice wall dive with a drift bringing the guests back over the barge and to our boat. Guests saw; large moray eels, crocodile fish, napoleon wrasse and much more

After the dive the breakfast was served and the Capitan move the boat to Shaab Abu Nuhas.

Dive 2 – The Carnatic wreck. The Carnatic sunk over 100 years ago making it like an artificial reef with a lot of marine life. A short tender ride away guests descended on to the wreck exploring the outside before swimming over the remains of the engine and going inside the open stern and bow looking for marine life. A nice easy wreck with a lot of life. Guests saw a crocodile fish, jacks, giant green moray, 100s glass fish and much more.

Lunch was served and guests enjoyed the sunshine before dive 3.

Dive 3 – Giannis D one of the most famous wrecks here in Egypt. We descended on to the wreck around the stern. Guests explored the stern before entering the wreck and going inside the impressive 6 cylinder engine room and down to the crew accommodation area. After the stern we went over to the bow to see the remaining of the cargo wood and the impressive bow mast and winches. Then back over to the stern to see the funnel with the big letter D on. Great dive guests saw jacks, scorpion fish, anthias, pipe fish, a very large puffer fish and much more.

Snacks were served and we moved to Shaab El Erg.

Dive 4 – Sha’ab El Erg. Night dive on the reef very easy shallow dive keeping the reef left. Guests saw lobster, crabs, shrimps, parrot fish and much more.

We celebrated the week with a special dinner and watched the video of the week.

Day 6 – Friday 1^st March 2024

Guests were woken at 6:00am and enjoyed their continental breakfast before dive 1.

Dive 1 – Sha’ab El Erg also known as Dolphin House. From the back of the boat looking for dolphins! Guests explored the reef and spent time in the channel looking for dolphins. and then back towards the boat. Had excellent dive with pod of dolphins underwater.

Dive 2 – Abu Nugar reef Guests descended down to the reef following the reef around to the left then back again to right and after 60mins back to the boat. Nice easy shallow dive guests saw Blue spotted ray, jelly fish, parrot fish, angle fish, banner fish and much more.

Lunch was served and guests relaxed while the crew washed their kit.
