Wednesday May 1st

It was bright sunny afternoon as guests boarded the Bahamas Aggressor on the west end of Grand Bahama for a Special 10-Day Adventure!  After guests were settled in Captain Dennis gave a Welcome Aboard Safety and Information Briefing while Captain Lightbourne and Staff got the Adventure Started by departed the dock.  After the briefing guests enjoy the smooth ride with the sky in a blanket of stars as the Bahamas Aggressor made her way from our Tiger Beach Homeport Old Bahama Bay to the Bimini Islands.  We Spend a few days diving around Bimini before making way to the Tiger Beach Area.

Thursday May 2nd

Our first day of diving on the 10-Day Adventure was off the Island of North Bimini.  During the day we visited three different dive sites enjoy a variety of marine Life such as Large Barracudas, Schools of Snappers, Angelfish, Balloonfish, Yellowhead Jawfish and Banded Jawfish, Headshield Slugs, Caribbean Spin Lobsters, Southern Stingrays, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks, Squids, Hawksbill Turtles. Oh and Bottlenose Dolphins!  It was an amazing way to start this adventure!

Friday May 3rd

The adventures on the dive sites at Tug and Barge, Moray Alley, Lil Cavern and Lewda. Some of the marine life we encountered on this bright and sunny day were schooling Snappers, Jawfish, Caribbean Lobsters, Loggerhead Turtles, Southern Stingrays, Nurse Sharks, Old Tug, Huge Barge, Large Pleasure Yacht, Octopus, Squids, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Mantis Shrimp and Oh Yeah Dolphins!

Saturday May 4th

We started the day early as we departed our mooring just as the sun was coming over the horizon.  We made us was further south pass South Bimini to South Cat Caye area and explored Tuna Alley and the Victory Reefs. While exploring these wonderful walls and shallow reefs, we enjoyed a variety of marine life such as Southern and Roughtail Stingrays, Schools of Horse-Eye Jacks, Great Barracudas’, Slipper, Spotted and Caribbean Spiny Lobsters, Big Loggerhead Turtles, Squids and Octopus, add Nurse and Caribbean Reef Sharks which made for an another amazing day of exploring the underwater world around the Bahamas.

Sunday May 5th

Today we knew it was time to start making our way back north to the Bimini Area.  On the way we stopped and enjoyed the reefs around Turtle Rocks, the Wreck of the Sopana and finally back in Bimini Area Bimini Road.  Just some of the diverse incredible marine life we encountered were Yellowhead Jawfish, Spotted and Green Moray Eels, Lizardfish, Stingrays, huge Schools of Snappers, Chubs, French and Gray Angelfish, Filefish, large Groupers and Snappers. Several Southern Stingrays and one of the Largest Roughtail Stingrays I have ever seen, and Sharks!

Monday May 6th

After Exploring Bimini Road, it was time to finish this 10-Day Adventure in the Tiger Beach Area.  While guests enjoyed a peaceful night sleep the staff and Bahama Aggressor made the 90 plus mile journey north to the Tiger Beach Area, Mini Wall, Hogfish Reef and Shark Paradise. These were the three dive sites we spend hours enjoying the underwater world swimming along colorful reefs with Green Moray Eels, Snappers, Groupers, Rays and LOTS of Sharks, Nurse Sharks, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Lemon Sharks and Tiger Sharks!

Tuesday May 7th

Our third dive sites we explored today had an abundance of marine life.  We saw small creatures like Corkscrew Anemone, Arrow Crabs, Pederson Cleaner Shrimps to some larger marine life like Spotted and Green Moray Eels, Southern Stingrays, Hundreds of Dogs, Yellowtail and Gray Snappers, Hawksbill and Loggerhead Turtles, Nurse Sharks, Octopuses, Squids, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Lemon Sharks and Tiger Sharks.  It was another busy day exploring the underwater world around Tiger Beach and white sand ridge areas.

Wednesday May 8th

The dive sites today were El Dorado, Jawfish Zigsaw and Metropolis. They were amazing.  We spent many hours underwater enjoying the marine life. Some of the marine life came very close to us, like a small School of Ocean Triggerfish circling around one of our divers, a curious juvenile Caribbean Reef Shark came very close up for a personal look, big Barracudas, Queen Angelfish, very large school of colorful Creole Wrasses, Nurse Sharks, Caribbean Reef Sharks and Tiger Sharks. One juvenile came close to a few divers.  The entire day felt like a long slow enjoyable underwater dive!

Thursday May 9th

Our last full day of diving on the adventurous 10-Days was on El Capitan and Metropolis.  While exploring two wonderful dive sites we enjoyed, Nurse Sharks, Lobsters, Stingrays, Schools of Creole Wrasses, Snappers Turtles and Lemon, Caribbean Reef and Tiger Sharks.  All coming up close for a good look at divers.

Friday May 10th

Our final day was on the dive site we enjoyed the most Sharks, Metropolis. It did not disappoint us. We were surrounded by lots of Caribbean Reef and Lemon Sharks.  We also had several Tiger Sharks make their presents by swimming right through our group.  It was a perfect way to finish our 10-day adventure around Bimini, Cat Caye, and Tiger Beach Area!
