This afternoon we welcomed 10 guests onboard from the USA, Germany, Canada, Spain, Switzerland, Slovenia, and China. After welcome drinks and snacks, we introduced the crew and the boat, followed by a safety briefing and dinner.
Monday, April 28 – Malé Atoll & Vaavu Atoll
Dive Sites:
1st: Kurumba Reef
2nd: Lankun
3rd: Trixy Caves
We started with a relaxed check dive at Kurumba Reef to allow everyone to adjust and check their equipment. We spotted moray eels, triggerfish, pufferfish, anthias, and nudibranchs. The second dive at Lankun featured a sea cleaner station, a small school of sweetlips, pufferfish, lionfish, eagle rays, and shrimp. Our third dive at Trixy Caves offered large caverns and sightings of snapper, lionfish, stingray, clown triggerfish, and trevally.
Tuesday, April 29 – Rasdhoo & North Ari Atoll

3rd: Maaya Thila
4th: Maaya Thila (Night Dive)
At Rasdhoo, guests had their first experience using reef hooks and saw several gray reef sharks, bluefin trevally, and eagle rays. The second dive at Rasdhoo again featured gray reef sharks, eagle rays, Napoleon wrasse, manta rays, barracuda, and jacks. In Maaya Thila, we saw gray reef sharks, white-tip reef sharks, stingrays, snapper schools, trevally, and dogtooth tuna. During the night dive, we saw gray reef sharks, hunting jacks, fusiliers, stingrays, and a mantis shrimp.
Wednesday, April 30 – North Ari Atoll
Dive Sites:
1st: Hafsa Thila
2nd: Bathala Thila
3rd: Fish Head
At Hafsa Thila, we saw gray reef sharks, trevally, octopus, and yellow snapper. Bathala Thila offered a fantastic dive with stingrays, clownfish, giant trevally, and giant barracuda. Fish Head featured white-tip reef sharks, octopus, oriental sweetlips, dogtooth tuna, and a marble ray amidst beautiful coral.
Thursday, May 1 – South Ari Atoll

2nd: Mavaru Bay
3rd: Hohola Thila
4th: Fesdhoo Lagoon (Night Dive)
Radighga Thila brought us gray reef sharks, tuna, trevally, eagle rays, and a turtle. At Mavaru Bay, we had the amazing experience of diving with over 30 manta rays. At Hohola Thila, we spotted a stonefish, white-tip reef sharks, two moray eels, a hawksbill sea turtle, trevally, and gray reef sharks. Our night dive at Fesdhoo Lagoon was unforgettable, with six manta rays staying with us for nearly an hour.
Friday, May 2 – South Ari Atoll

1st: Machafushi Wreck
2nd: Bodufinolhu Thila
3rd: Dhigurah Arches
Machafushi Wreck featured trevally, gobies, boxfish, triggerfish, moray eels, and nudibranchs. We then had the chance to snorkel with a whale shark—a major highlight. At Bodufinolhu Thila, we saw stingrays and gray reef sharks. The third dive at Dhigurah Arches had white-tip reef sharks, octopus, oriental sweetlips, dogtooth tuna, and a marble ray. The day ended with a relaxing BBQ on a small island.
Saturday, May 3 – Vaavu & Meemu Atolls

2nd: Mulah Kandu
3rd: Mulah Corner
At Rakeedhoo, we spotted jacks, Napoleon wrasse, white-tip and gray reef sharks. At Mulah Kandu, we saw gray and white-tip reef sharks, large schools of snapper, cowtail stingrays, and silver barracuda. Mulah Corner brought sightings of stonefish, moray eels, hawksbill sea turtles, and more white-tip reef sharks.
Sunday, May 4 – Meemu Atoll
Dive Sites:
1st: Veyvah Corner
2nd: Hukura Thila
3rd: Mulkau Kandu
Veyvah Corner featured gray and white-tip reef sharks, yellowtail barracuda, and a hawksbill turtle. At Hukura Thila, we encountered a school of gray reef sharks, two octopuses, two Napoleon wrasses, a green turtle, and more white-tip reef sharks. Mulkau Kandu included gray reef sharks, a large Napoleon wrasse, moray eels, and white-tip reef sharks.
Monday, May 5 – Vaavu Atoll

1st: Miyaru Kandu
2nd: Alimatha
3rd: Kuda Giri Wreck
At Miyaru Kandu, we saw giant trevally, gray reef sharks, schools of barracuda, gobies, boxfish, oriental sweetlips, and nudibranchs. Alimatha offered sightings of stingrays, clownfish, Napoleon wrasse, gray reef sharks, and beautiful reef scenery. At Kuda Giri Wreck, we saw white-tip reef sharks, octopus, oriental sweetlips, and were surprised by a manta ray and a school of eagle rays in the channel.
Tuesday, May 6 – Malé Atoll
Dive Sites:
1st: Shark Tank
2nd: Banana Reef
Shark Tank provided an exciting dive with tiger sharks, lemon sharks, spinner sharks, and nose-pointed rays. Our final dive at Banana Reef featured stunning coral and diverse marine life. We concluded the day with a fun farewell party and presented awards to our guests.
Wednesday, May 7 – Malé Atoll – Departure Day
Guests enjoyed breakfast and prepared for departure. It was a pleasure getting to know this wonderful group, and we hope they had an unforgettable experience aboard the Maldives Aggressor II!
