This afternoon we welcomed 9 guests onboard from China, Russia, Germany, and France. After welcome drinks and snacks, they were introduced to the boat and crew. We held a boat safety briefing, followed by dinner.

Monday, 26 May
Location: Malé Atoll

Lankan Manta Point

We began with a check-out dive at Kurumba House Reef. It offered a relaxed setting to test equipment. Sightings included moray eels, triggerfish, octopus, blacktip reef sharks, pufferfish, and anthias.
Our second dive at Shark Tank featured 20+ stingrays, a spinner shark, and a school of bannerfish.
The third dive at Lankan Manta Point brought sightings of two manta rays, blacktip reef sharks, moray eels, snappers, pufferfish, lionfish, octopus, and a school of bigeye fish.

Tuesday, 27 May
Location: Vaavu

Rasdhoo
Hafsa Thila
Maaya Thila
Fesdhoo Lagoon (Night Dive)

At Rasdhoo, we spotted leaf fish, yellow snapper, cleaner wrasse, lionfish, pufferfish, stonefish, white tip reef sharks, and schools of yellowtail barracuda.
At Hafsa Thila, sightings included white tip and grey reef sharks, a hawksbill turtle, octopus, and nudibranchs.
The third dive at Maaya Thila offered octopuses, grey reef sharks, morays, stingrays, and schools of remoras.
The night dive at Fesdhoo Lagoon rewarded us with two manta rays feeding in the lights.

Wednesday, 28 May
Location: South Ari Atoll

Camel Rock
Mahi Rock
Dhigurah Arches

At Camel Rock, we spotted mantis shrimp, a turtle, white tip reef sharks, octopuses, and scorpionfish.
At Mahi Rock (Manta Cleaning Station), no mantas were seen, but we observed octopuses, sweetlips, turtles, clownfish, and vibrant reef life.
At Dhigurah Arches, we saw white tip reef sharks, octopuses, oriental sweetlips, dogtooth tuna, morays, pufferfish, and a turtle.
The day ended with a beach BBQ on a small island.

Thursday, 29 May
Location: South Ari Atoll
Dive Sites:
Kuda Rah Thila
Dhigurah Reef
Machchafushi Wreck

Kuda Rah Thila delivered one of the best dives of the trip with schools of yellow and red snappers, stonefish, boxfish, triggerfish, moray eels, lionfish, grey reef sharks, and white tip reef sharks.
At Dhigurah Reef, we saw morays, octopuses, lionfish, clownfish, and two turtles.
Our third dive was at the Machchafushi Wreck (a sunken Japanese vessel), where we spotted red snappers, octopuses, glassfish, nudibranchs, parrotfish, and batfish.

Friday, 30 May
Location: North Ari Atoll
Dive Sites:
Alimatha
Miyaru Kandu
Kanduma Thila
Viluvaru Giri (Night Dive)

At Alimatha, we saw eagle rays, turtles, grey reef sharks, manta rays, white tip reef sharks, schools of snappers, and hawksbill turtles.
Miyaru Kandu offered sightings of two Napoleon wrasse, white tip and grey reef sharks, honeycomb morays, hawksbill turtles, schools of barracuda, and giant trevally.
Kanduma Thila was spectacular with 50+ eagle rays, grey reef sharks, barracuda, Napoleon wrasse, octopuses, turtles, and stonefish.
Our night dive at Viluvaru Giri included crabs, shrimp, white tip reef sharks, nudibranchs, octopuses, and dogtooth tuna.

Saturday, 31 May
Location: Malé Atoll
Dive Sites:
Shark Tank
Banana Reef

At Shark Tank, divers spotted tiger sharks, lemon sharks, bull sharks, and numerous pointed-nose rays.
The final dive at Kurumba Reef featured moray eels, trevally, octopuses, clownfish, redtooth triggerfish, stingrays, and blacktip reef sharks.

Sunday, 01 June

Departure Day
Guests had breakfast and prepared for departure. We thoroughly enjoyed hosting this wonderful group and hope they had a memorable experience aboard the Maldives Aggressor 2!
