Sunday, Sept 7 – Malé Atoll
Guests arrived from the USA, Australia, and Russia and were warmly welcomed with drinks and snacks. After the boat and safety briefing, everyone enjoyed a relaxing dinner while settling in for the adventure ahead.

Monday, Sept 8 – North Malé Atoll
Dive Sites: Kurumba Wall, Lankan Manta Point, Trix Caves

The week began with a check dive at Kurumba Wall, where divers adjusted weights and gear while spotting fusiliers, anthias, moray eels, octopus, and a blacktip reef shark.

At Lankan Manta Point, three manta rays circled gracefully at the cleaning station, joined by sweetlips, morays, and octopus.

The day ended at Trix Caves, with sponge covered overhangs, lionfish, nudibranchs, schools of snapper, and bluefin trevally.

Tuesday, Sept 9 – Baa Atoll
Dive Sites: Dharavandhoo Thila, Dhonfanu Thila, Kakkani Reef (Day & Night)

The day began at Dharavandhoo Thila, where divers were surrounded by anthias while whitetip reef sharks and eagle rays glided past.

At Dhonfanu Thila, sightings included grey reef sharks and a dogtooth tuna.

Kakkani Reef delivered turtles, napoleon wrasse, trevally, and grey reef sharks. Returning for a night dive, guests spotted hunting morays, crabs, and parrotfish tucked into the corals.

Wednesday, Sept 10 – Baa Atoll
Dive Sites: Kuda Gaa, Nelivaru Thila, Dhigali Haa, Hibalhidhoo Reef (Night)

At Kuda Gaa, divers enjoyed colorful soft corals and sightings of a green turtle, leaf scorpionfish, and octopus.

Nelivaru Thila provided action with grey reef sharks, napoleon wrasse, and schools of jacks.

At Dhigali Haa, a protected site, guests encountered whitetip reef sharks and barracuda.

The day ended at Hibalhidhoo Reef with a night dive featuring cleaner shrimp, crabs, and a Spanish dancer nudibranch.

Thursday, Sept 11 – Baa Atoll
Dive Sites: Dhigu Thila, Dharavandhoo Corner, Hanifaru Bay (Snorkel), Kakkani Reef (Night)

At Dhigu Thila, divers swam beneath overhangs filled with glassfish and snapper, while whitetip sharks patrolled nearby.

Dharavandhoo Corner was full of excitement with grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and tuna.

In the afternoon, we snorkeled in Hanifaru Bay, where over 40 mantas performed mesmerizing barrel rolls.

The night dive at Kakkani Reef included lobsters, reef crabs, cuttlefish, and nudibranchs.

Friday, Sept 12 – Baa Atoll
Dive Sites: Anga Faru, Blue Hole, Hirundoo Bay

At Anga Faru, divers experienced bigfish action with grey reef sharks, dogtooth tuna, and barracuda.

Blue Hole revealed caverns filled with soldierfish and lobsters.

The final dive at Hirundoo Bay was a relaxing exploration of sandy patches where stingrays rested and reef fish circled the bommies.

Saturday, Sept 13 – Raa Atoll
Dive Sites: Kuda Thulhaadhoo Thila, Vaadhoo Thila, Beriyan Thila

At Kuda Thulhaadhoo Thila, we enjoyed schools of anthias, batfish, and grey reef sharks.

Vaadhoo Thila delivered swift drifts past eagle rays and hunting trevally.

At Beriyan Thila, known as “grey reef shark paradise,” divers also spotted eagle rays, stonefish, and scorpionfish.

Sunday, Sept 14 – Lhaviyani Atoll
Dive Sites: Felivaru Wrecks (Sheeriyan), Fushifaru Thila (Kan’du)

At the Felivaru Wrecks, divers explored coral encrusted hulls with leaf fish, green turtles at rest, mantis shrimp, lionfish, and groupers.

Fushifaru Thila provided thrilling current dives with grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and big tuna.

Monday, Sept 15 – North Malé Atoll
Dive Sites: Helengeli Thila, Asdhoo Rock, HP Reef

At Helengeli Thila, divers enjoyed fusiliers, bannerfish, and reef sharks.

Asdhoo Rock brought encounters with eagle rays, tuna, and a massive napoleon wrasse.

The final dive of the day at HP Reef, a protected site showcased dramatic canyons, soft corals, and several grey reef sharks.

Tuesday, Sept 16 – North Malé Atoll
Dive Sites: Shark Tank, Lankan Reef

At Shark Tank, divers had an unforgettable dive with three tiger sharks, stingrays, and large schools of trevally.

The trip concluded at Lankan Reef, where a manta circled the cleaning station alongside sweetlips, turtles, and blacktip reef sharks.

Wednesday, Sept 17 – Departure Day
Guests enjoyed a final breakfast onboard before departure. The week was filled with breathtaking manta encounters, shark action, vibrant reefs, and unforgettable dives truly showcasing the Best of the Maldives.
