Sunday, October 5, 2025 – Malé Atoll
Guests arrived from the USA in high spirits, ready for the adventure ahead. After a warm welcome, refreshing drinks, and introductions, the staff conducted a detailed safety briefing. The day concluded with a delicious dinner prepared by the chef as the yacht prepared for departure the following morning.
Monday, October 6, 2025 – Day 1 | North Malé Atoll
Dive Sites:
1. Kurumba Wall – Our first check dive of the week offered a calm introduction to the Maldivian underwater world. The wall was teeming with fusiliers, anthias, moray eels, and a few curious blacktip reef sharks gliding gracefully past.
2. Lankan Manta Point – A legendary manta cleaning station where divers were thrilled to watch six elegant mantas circling in formation. Hawksbill turtles, sweetlips, and octopus added to the spectacle.
3. Trix Caves – An extraordinary site of overhangs and swim-throughs lined with colorful sponges. We found lionfish, nudibranchs, and large schools of yellow and red snapper patrolled by bluefin trevally.
Tuesday, October 7, 2025 – Day 2 | Baa Atoll
Dive Sites:
1.Dharavandhoo Thila – A lively start to the day with sightings of two mantas, schooling jacks, a nurse shark, and a graceful eagle ray gliding through clouds of anthias.
2.Donfano Thila – Sweetlips, yellow snapper, turtles, and another stunning eagle ray highlighted the dives.
3. Kakani Reef – Overhangs packed with glassfish, a napoleon wrasse, and a mix of grey and blacktip reef sharks. Divers were surrounded by swirling schools of trevally and silver fish.
4. Ana Faru (Night Dive) – The reef came alive with cuttlefish, sleeping triggerfish, lionfish, crabs, and shrimp hiding among the coral.
Wednesday, October 8, 2025 – Day 3 | Baa Atoll
Dive Sites:
1. Kuda Gaa – Soft corals lit up the reef with color as two mantas hovered above the cleaning station. A green turtle and leaf scorpionfish completed this picturesque dive.
2. Dhigh Thila – Octopus, blacktip reef sharks, and schooling jacks filled the site, while napoleon wrasse and turtles made relaxed appearances.
3. Dhigali Haa – A protected marine area alive with clouds of silver fish, grey reef sharks, stingrays, and barracuda.
4. Anga Faru (Night Dive) – A magical dive featuring green turtles, squid, cleaner shrimp, and a curious cuttlefish.
Thursday, October 9, 2025 – Day 4 | Baa Atoll
Dive Sites:
1. Dhigalihaa Thila – Overhangs bursting with glassfish and snapper. Two grey reef sharks and several white-tip sharks patrolled the blue while scorpionfish hid among the rocks.
2. Nelivaru Thila – Eagle rays glided gracefully while a lone manta passed above. Clouds of silver fish reflected light across the reef.
3. Hanifaru Bay (Snorkeling) – The ultimate highlight — more than 15 mantas feeding and barrel-rolling at the surface in perfect choreography.
4. Kakani Reef (Sunset Dive) – The setting sun painted the water gold as divers watched four nurse sharks, lionfish, and schooling snapper in the twilight.
Friday, October 10, 2025 – Day 5 | Raa Atoll
Dive Sites:
1. Vaadhoo Thila – Big fish action with dogtooth tuna, eagle rays, barracuda, and clouds of silver fish swirling around the reef.
2. Beriyan Thila – From the top of the thila, divers watched grey reef sharks and trevally hunting among the coral. Octopus and white-tip reef sharks patrolled the depths while batfish glided above.
3. Nemo Thila – A site known as “Anemone City” for its carpet of anemones housing playful clownfish. A manta ray and mantis shrimp made surprise appearances.
Saturday, October 11, 2025 – Day 6 | Noonu Atoll
Dive Sites:
1. Xmas Rock – A breathtaking reef bursting with life — glassfish, dragonfish, octopus, batfish, and a few resting white-tip reef sharks.
2. Orimas Thila – A colorful thila covered in soft coral, surrounded by silver fish and visited by grey reef and guitar sharks.
3. Raafushi House Reef (Afternoon & Night Dive) – A spectacular series of dives featuring yellow snapper, turtles, lobsters, and cleaner shrimp. At night, white-tip sharks and crabs took over the reef under the beam of dive lights.
Sunday, October 12, 2025 – Day 7 | Lhaviyani Atoll
Dive Sites:
1. Shipyard – Two wrecks resting side by side, covered in soft coral and teeming with life. We spotted octopus, lionfish, nudibranchs, and both green and hawksbill turtles.
2. Kuredu Caves – Known for its turtle population, this site delivered — four green turtles, several sharks, and six eagle rays soared through the blue.
3. Lhohi Kandu – A gentle drift along the channel with sightings of dogtooth tuna, lobsters, and octopus.
Monday, October 13, 2025 – Day 8 | North Malé Atoll
Dive Sites:
1. Helengeli Thila – The highlight of the trip! Over 50 grey reef sharks circled the cleaning station while schools of fusiliers shimmered in the current. Napoleon wrasse, batfish, and bannerfish added bursts of color.
2. Kani Corner – Action-packed dive with grey reef sharks, trevally, tuna, and large napoleon wrasse.
3. Lankan Manta Point – A perfect finale: eight mantas swooped and circled gracefully overhead while moray eels, sweetlips, and octopus completed the scene.
Tuesday, October 14, 2025 – Day 9 | North Malé Atoll
Dive Sites:
1. Shark Tank – An exhilarating dive with countless stingrays, eagle rays, hawksbill turtles, and massive schools of trevally.
2. Banana Reef – A classic Maldivian dive featuring brilliant coral formations, green and hawksbill turtles, octopus, moray eels, and schools of redtooth triggerfish dancing in the current.
Wednesday, October 15, 2025 – Departure Day
Guests enjoyed a final breakfast onboard before saying farewell to the staff. It was a truly unforgettable adventure — nine days filled with mantas, sharks, rays, turtles, and vibrant reefs. The Maldives once again delivered pure underwater magic, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back soon for the next adventure of a lifetime.
This has been a fantastic journey filled with new friendships, incredible marine encounters, and the unmatched beauty of the Maldives.
