Saturday – We welcomed 12 guests aboard the Turks and Caicos Aggressor II at 3pm. We received them with cheese platters, the check in process was done by our first mate Megan. As the sun was descending into the ocean our last four customers jumped on the boat, and we made tracks for West Caicos.

Sunday- We began our adventures at a dive site called Brandy Wine, in West Caicos. Here we found a plethora of Reef Fish scurrying about under the boat and along the wall. 3 Reef Sharks also welcomed our divers and stayed around as though one of the group. A turtle kept its distance off the wall, but close enough for us to enjoy the site of him gracefully swimming along. After the first 2 dives it was time for lunch! As the guests filled their bellies with Carlos’s yummy concoctions, the crew made ready for a crossing to North West Point. We picked a dive site close enough to a beach that, 2 of our guests who’s flight was delayed from yesterday till today, could be picked up by tender. This dive site was Amphitheater. Here there were more Reef Sharks that swam just off the wall, a multitude of Barracuda, and an odd shaped Conch.

Tuesday – We started our day at a dive site called Magic Mushroom. Here we saw Sharks swimming off the wall, Lobsters peeking out from under reef, and Stingrays cruising along the bottom. After the first 2 dives the guests settled into the salon for some lunch, and the crew fired engine to make way for French Cay. As we were doing the crossing Dolphriends joined us on the bow. Once at French Cay we moored up at the site called G-Spot. The divers had 3 Amazing dives here! On the 1st dive, they saw a Spotted Eagle Ray! On dive 4, the Dolphins came back to say hello, it was an amazing experience! And as a highlight for French Cay, the night dive, like no were else the Nurse and Reef Sharks come out to feed naturally by the divers lights. As an added bonus and Eagle Ray swooped through putting on a show!

Wednesday – Because the weather was so lovely down in French Caye we decided to stay down for two more beautiful dives at Rock N Roll. We found two beautiful little juvenile spotted drums, and two tiny little wire coral shrimp. We also had a ray entertain the group for 5 minutes as I dipped, dived and flew around. We picked up our mooring and headed back to West Caicos, hoping to find the friendly pod of dolphins that had graced us with their presence on the way down. We tied up at Driveway, and had a beautiful first dive. We managed to find a Scorpion fish, and a gigantic Green Moray, which came out and posed for a few shots for the photographers. When we came up, Chef Carlos had prepared us an absolute feast. Duck breast with an orange and cardamom sauce. It was exquisite, only to be topped by the outstanding Tiramisu. It was a beautiful day of diving and eating.

Thursday – In the morning the crew moved the boat to Elephant Ear Canyon, this site has a gorgeous sandy bottom full of garden eels and a steep canyon dropping down thousands and thousands of feet that is full of beautiful corals. The guest enjoyed watching the reef sharks darting around the reef chasing fish this morning and on the way back to the boat they found a bat fish, a flying Grenard and a pike blenny. After two dives here this morning the crew moved the boat over to North west point while guests had some more of Chef Carlos’s amazing food. At North West point the crew tied up the boat on The Thunderdome which is an artificial reef that was constructed for a reality TV show in the 80’s, it has become a home for an array of macro life. During the first dive here guests went to the wall to check out The Chimney a cut in the reef that you can swim up while sand falls down like a waterfall all around you, on the second dive guests went over to the Dome were dive instructor Bobbie showed the rough headed blennys living in the structure and a beautiful giant anemone living inside the dome full of banded clinging crabs and squat anemone shrimp. Tonight after dinner guests watch the movie of their amazing week on board, the film was full of dolphin videos from throughout the week. Guests then geared up for there last night dive of the week and what an thrilling dive! Guests saw spotted moray eels hunting and catching fish around the dome, southern stingrays and finally spotted some rough back shrimp. After the dive guests enjoyed stiff hot chocolates and baileys and hung out in the hot tub before showing each other pictures they had taken from the week.

Friday – We woke up itching for our last dives of the week. We jumped in at a dive site called Two Step. one of our favorites and it did not disappoint. We saw sharks, rays, eels, and an amazing find… a baby trunk fish!!! They’re so darn cute. We headed into the Marina were we fueled up, got all negative covid tests and had a wine and cheese party that would make the Romans jealous.
