Saturday

The crew of the Cayman Aggressor IV welcomes 18 guests for a great week of diving in Cayman. They arrived at 4 o’clock and we offered cheese & charcuterie board with sparkling white wine, after setting up their gear chef Carlos had prepared a lovely salmon dinner with chocolate cake for desert. After dinner Capt. Josh introduced the crew and gave the welcome briefing. All the guests were tired from traveling and went to sleep early to get ready for there adventure ahead.

 

Sunday

Weather Report - Winds 6Knots SE Waves 0-1 Ft SE

Sunday morning, we started the engines early at 3am the guests just rolled over and went back to sleep as we started our journey to the east side of the island. We arrived at the first dive site for 6:30 am and the guests awoke with the smell of honey sausages, crapes and eggs there way, after breakfast it was time to start diving. The first two dives were on a lovely site called the maze, the guest had some really up-close encounters with reef sharks and the amazing drop off along the wall. After the first two dives it was time for lunch. Chef Carlos had made his lovely Pumpkin Curry and Coconut cream soup, Pork Milanese and camembert cheese cream with pasta and vegs. While Lunch was underway the captain moved the boat to a site called fish tank, a nice shallow reef with an abundance of fish life. The guests were greeted with reef sharks, moray eels. After Dive 4 we started the engines and headed to little Cayman. While enroute the guests sat down for dinner. Tonight we had Cesar salad to start, New York’s strip steak with a red wine source laminated baked potato’s and snow peas and for desert we had baked cheese cake.

 

 Monday

Weather Report – Winds 9-14knots SE Waves 0-1 Ft SE  

We woke up in Little Cayman ready to start the day with the smell of fresh coffee and Chef Carlos famous breakfast. This morning we had smoked ham, ricotta pancakes and eggs your way. After breakfast everyone was egger to get in the water for the first two dives in Little Cayman. We started the day at a dive site called joys joy. Everyone came up from the dives extremely happy with the topography of the dive site. Having seen reef sharks, eels and rays in the sand everyone was ready for lunch. Todays lunch was Cauliflower Cream, Beef Enchilada with Red Chipotle Source, Veggie Rolls and Lentil, Avocado, Grape, Spinach, Corn and Rice. After lunch everyone took a nap on the sundeck and then it was time for the afternoon dives. Our dive site for the afternoon dive was at a site called naceys cup of tea. This dive was amazing for an afternoon / night dive and full of all types of creatures from reef sharks to macro creatures. 

 

Tuesday

Weather Report – Winds 7-9 Knots SE Waves 0-1ft SE

We awoke in little Cayman and started the day with a delicious breakfast of eggs your way, Bratt German Sausages and Waffles. During breakfast we moved th boat to Cayman brac which is 25 miles from little Cayman and Dove the Russian Destroyer Wreck. It is such a popular dive site that we were only able to do one dive there due to the Queue of boats that wanted to dive the wreck. The guests loved it though as there was 2 turtles swimming around and a bunch of sting rays feeding in the sand. During the first two dives Chef carols had out the Ship shape boutique for the guests and made some amazing cinnamon rolls. We got back to little Cayman and tied the boat off at a dive site called The Great Wall. We did our second and third dive of the day there. The dive site is located in the bloody bay wall area and it has a drop off from 20 ft ontop of the wall to 9000+ ft down the edge. There was turtle eagle rays and reef sharks swimming around on both dives. Even an octopus came out for an afternoon snack. We then moved to another site called Randy’s gazibo. Another site in the bloody bay wall area. The guest were once again blown away with the wall drop off and beautiful reefs there. During dinner Capt josh started the engines and we made out way back to grand Cayman. The crossing took 7-8 hours of driving and we got to the west side of the island around 6 am.

 

Wednesday winds SE 14 – 16 Knots Waves 3-5 Ft

We started the day with a delicious breakfast of eggs your way, smoked ham, Mexican rancheros eggs. After Breakfast we arrived at a site called devils grotto. A lovely shallow site to start the day. The dive site is famous for the swim throughs and tunnels that our on the site. The amount of tarpon on the site as well as amazing. During lunch we moved the boat to a site called sunset house reef. There is a wreck, the famous mermaid and a cruise ship anchor in the sand. The reef there is beautiful, and the night dive was amazing with the amount of octopus we found on the dive. In total we found 6 that night. For dinner tonight chef carols made amazing Grilled Pork Ribs & celery Root Pure with a risotto with mushrooms and green asparagus for dessert we have a key lime pie.

 

Thursday winds 30 Knots NE waves 6-9ft NE

We started the day with a delicious breakfast of eggs your way, Italian sausage and French toast. The Captain Moved the boat the night before to be ahead of the weather and tied the boat up at the kittiwake. The weather today was windy and that made us have to hide out at the kittiwake. But the guests loved it as we dove the wall for the first two dives on the walled called sand chute and the afternoon and night dive on the kittiwake.

 

Friday

We started the day with a delicious breakfast of eggs the way you like, grilled bacon and eggs benedict. We moved the bot to the Wreck of the OV where we did our last two dives of the week, we got back to the dock around 1 pm and at 5:30 we had our wind and cheese part on the sundeck and celebrated all the achievements that were completed that week.
