Saturday April 15th
It was the perfect Caribbean Day as guests boarded the Cayman Aggressor IV for a Fulfilled Week of Exploring The Underwater World around Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac!
Sunday April 16th
We departed our homeport in George Town Grand Cayman just as daylight was happening. For our first full day of diving we visited two wonderful Dive Site called Governors Reef and Bonnies Arch. Both of these sites have a variety of Marine Life and Underwater Formations, which is a perfect, set up for beginners and more experience divers. Some of the Marine Life we enjoyed were Colorful Sponges and Gorgonians, Caribbean Spiny Lobsters, Spotted Moray Eels, Arrow Blennies, French and Gray Angelfishes, Queen Triggerfishes, Groupers, Snappers, Free Swimming Green Moray Eel, Lettuce Slugs, Rough Fileclams, Spotted Eagle Ray, Nurse Sharks, Several Squids!!
Monday April 17th
Magic Monday we woke up just off shore near at the Dive Site called Nancy’s Cup of Tea. The other dive we visited was Randy’s Gazebo. Both dive sites were full of Marine Life and Colorful Corals. Of course these sites were Very Colorful with Sponges, Corals and a Variety of Marine Life. Just some of the Marine Life we enjoyed was Schooling Creole Wrasses, Banded Butterflyfishes, Arrow Blennies, Lettuce Slugs, Big Caribbean Spiny Lobsters, Green Moray Eel, Nassau and Tiger Groupers, Barracudas, Fairy Basslets, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Hawksbill Turtle, A Huge Loggerhead Turtle and Lots of Squids!
Tuesday April 18th
The 330 Foot Russian Frigate called the Keith Tibbett that in September 1996 was sunk off Cayman Brac to make an Artificial Reef. The Wreck has now a Variety of Colorful Sponges and Hard Corals, Stingrays in the sandy areas and even a Turtle here and there around the wreck. The fun part is exploring the 330 Foot Koni Class II Frigate is still Fun, some places you can see inside which really shows a lot of color. It was a Fun way to spend the morning. For the afternoon we made out way to the South Side of Little Cayman and the dive site Black Hole Wall. While Exploring Black Hole Wall we enjoyed large Gullies with Colorful Encrusting Corals, Feather Black Corals, Knobby Brain Corals, Sea Whips, Sponge Brittle Stars, Neck Crabs, Banded Coral Shrimps, Giant Anemones, French Angelfish, Bar Jacks, Variety of Parrotfishes, Groupers, Barred Hamlets, Black Durgon, Spotted Moray Eel, Blue Tangs and a ig Loggerhead Turtle.
Wednesday April 19th
Back in Grand Cayman and Exploring the Dive Sites The Maze and Eagle Ray Rock. During our time underwater we encountered Juvenile Damselfish, Angelfish and Trumpetfish, we also enjoyed the Adult Size version as well. Other Marine Life in the area was Goldentail Moray Eel, Groupers, Caribbean Spiny Lobsters, Large Vase Sponges, Colorful Sea Whips, Black Corals, Big Channel Clinging Crabs, Hawksbill Turtles and Several Caribbean Reef Sharks!
Thursday April 20th
Todays Adventure took us to Two Wrecks The Kittywake and Doc Polson and A Colorful Dive Site Called Big Tunnels, which has Large Tunnels and Canyons. While Exploring these Dive Sites we enjoyed going inside the Wrecks and Canyons with Large Goliath Grouper, Free Swimming Green Moray Eel, Filefish, Clams, Barracudas, Groupers, Snappers, Angelfishes, Large Barrel Sponges, Long Colorful Sea Whips, Butterflyfishes, Banded Coral Shrimps, Arrow Blennies, Southern & Roughtail Stingrays, Loggerhead, Hawksbill Turtles and Lots of Squids. It was an Excellent Last Full Day of Diving, Spending Several Hours Underwater!
Friday April 21st
Our final dive site for this amazing week of exploring the Underwater World around Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac was Devils Grotto. Devils Grotto is a very colorful shallow dive site with a variety of marine life. Just some of what we encountered was Purple Vase Sponges, Angelfishes, Nassau and Tiger Groupers, Creole Wrasses, Arrow Crabs, Free Swimming Green Moray Eel, Goldentail Moray Eel, Hawksbill Turtle and a Very Friendly Spotted Eagle Ray! A Great Dive Site To Spend The Morning Exploring!
