Arrival Day – Saturday 22nd July 2023
The guests arrived at 3pm and were welcomed with a cold drink. After check in guests looked around the boat and relaxed enjoying the pizza made by our chef. The boat safety briefing took place and then dinner was served. After dinner, all equipment was set up and guests went to bed ready for a great week of diving to start!
Day 1 – Sunday 23rd July 2023
Guests were woken at 7.00am and enjoyed their hot breakfast while we waited for the approval from the coast guard to leave. Permissions granted the captain fired up the engines and we departed to our first dive site of the week. Guests enjoyed a hot breakfast and the general dive briefing.
Dive 1 – Abu Nuhas Reef. Nice easy check dive with max depth 15m/45ft. Guests saw; clown fish, banner fish, blue spotted ray and much more.
After the dive lunch was served and guests relaxed before dive 2.
Dive 2 - Giannis D. Another famous wreck in the North Red Sea. Guests boarded the tenders for a short ride to the wreck. Surface conditions a little rough today. The guests opted for a full tour inside the engine room which is an impressive engine and tight corridors to the accommodation area. Around the wreck was a lot of marine life including glass fish, large groupers, clown fish, large eel, blue spotted ray and much more.
After the dive snacks were served and the captain moved the boat to Sha’ab Mahmoud.
Dive 3 – Night dive Beacon Rock, famous for its moray eels. Guests jumped from the back of the boat and explored the reef area around the boat. A fantastic dive. Guests saw; pink stone fish, very large moray eels, 2 x Spanish dancers, pencil sea urchins and much more. After the dive dinner was served and guests relaxed after a great first day!
Day 2 – Monday 24th July 2023
Guests were woken at 6.00am and enjoyed their continental breakfast before dive 1.
Dive 1 - Dunraven Wreck. One of the oldest wrecks in the Red Sea which sits completely upside down. Guests took a short tender ride and descended to the wreck. We explored the outside of the wreck and then entered via the stern which is like an empty cave. Guests saw large boilers and exited the wreck heading back to the beautiful reef and back to the boat. Guests saw large groupers, eels, stone fish and much more.
Breakfast was served and the captain moved the boat to Ras Mohamed.
Dive 2 - Jackfish Alley a drift from the big boat. Guests entered the water and swam through the small cave swim through with amazing an amazing view and light. We followed the reef around as we drifted slowly. 1000s of fish around the reef. Giant barracuda, spotted rays, anthias, trigger fish, cornet fish, scorpion fish, 2 turtles and much more.
Lunch was served.
Dive 3 – Thomas Reef famous with technical divers for its deep canyon. Only a short zodiac ride away. Guests descended on to the reef and kept the reef left to see the large canyon and back to the reef. Drifted round the reef admiring the stunning quality of reef with 1000s of fish. Guests saw school of clown fish, jacks, tuna, large fan corals and much more.
After the dive snacks were served and guests relaxed before the night dive.
Dive 4 – Night Dive Gordon reef. Only 1 guests opted to do the night dive the small group dived into the hot tub! Chris and Adel the guide jumped in from the boat and explored the coral garden around and under our boat. Current running slightly running making them fin a little bit a great night dive.
After the dive dinner was served.
Day 3 – Tuesday 25th July 2023
Guests were woken at 6:00am and enjoyed their continental breakfast before dive 1.
Dive 1 – Jackson reef North.Guests jumped form the back of the boat and kept the reef right and saw one Hammerhead ?
Breakfast was served.
Dive 2 – Jackson reef South. Guests jumped form the back of the boat and kept the reef right over the beautiful salad corals with 100s of anthias fish. Big snappers and jacks. Fantastic easy dive with so much marine life much like an aquarium.
Lunch was served and guests relaxed before dive 3.
Dive 3 – Ras Umm Sid a short tender ride away close to the shore of Sharm. A great gentle morning dive keeping the reef left all the way slowly drifting around the coral garden and smb and pick up by the big boat. Huge fan corals, beautiful coral formations over the reef and a lot of marine life. Guests saw; tuna, barracuda, jacks, butterfly fish, banner fish, scorpion fish and much more.
After the dive snacks were served and guests relaxed before the night dive.
Dive 4 – Temple close to the shore of Sharm El Sheik. Guests jumped from the back of the boat and swam to the main reef. Shallow dive maximum 11m/33ft guests kept the reef on the right then back again. Excellent night dive with a lot of marine life. Guests saw; Octopus, large Spanish dancer, moray eel, cuttlefish and much more.

Day 4 – Wednesday 26th July 2023
Guests were woken at 6am.
Dive 1 – Shark & Yolanda reef another famous dive site. The captain reversed the boat to Shark Reef and everyone was ready to jump at the same time and descended down to Shark reef. Another reef like an aquarium completely covered in soft and hard coral with 1000s of fish. Over the saddle to Yolanda reef which has the remains of the remains of the cargo of the Yolanda wreck which now sits over 200m deep. The cargo is old bathtubs and toilets with the captains BMW car. A green sea turtle joined the guests. Then over to satellite reef where there is a large salad coral great for pictures covered in anthias fish.
After the dive breakfast was served.
Dive 2 - The Kingston wreck another wreck over 100 years old. Surface conditions perfect allowing the captain to tie directly onto the wreck making it a mooring dive. Guests followed the line to the wreck and descended exploring the wreck at a max depth of 15m/45ft. The wreck is completely covered in corals and open inside. The surrounding area of the wreck is fantastic covered in table top corals and much marine life.
Lunch was served and guests relaxed before dive 3.
Dive 3 – SS Thistlegorm. The most famous WWII wreck. Guests kitted up and descended down the line to the decks of the Thistlegorm, out to the locomotive and around the wreck on the left. Seeing the large guns on the stern the Impressive propeller and back over the blast area which is covered with animation shells. Over to the bow where 1000s of fish live around the winches saw the 2nd anchor and over the coal carriers and right over the holds before heading back to the line. A great tour of the outside of the wreck.
After the dive snacks were served.
Dive 4 – A night dive on the SS Thistlegorm, one of the most famous night dives! Guests were guided inside the hold to see the cargo, half of the inside covered ready for the mornings tour. The resident sea turtle was seen with much more marine life. A fantastic dive!
Guests enjoyed dinner and relax before bed.
Day 5 – Thursday 27th July 2023
Guests were woken at 5.30am today.
Dive 1 – SS Thistlegorm a full guided tour inside the wreck. With only 7 divers this week made a perfect small group. We jumped and followed the line to the wreck. We then entered the wreck in the lower hold 25m / 80ft and circled the lower level seeing all the trucks, bikes, plane wings and much more. Then to the upper level at 20m/60ft seeing even more impressive cargo 1000s rifles and much more. Then over the bow decks to see the marine life, through the captains bridge and back to our boat. An impressive dive like going through a WWII museum.
After the dive breakfast was served.
Dive 2 – Sha’ab El Erg also known as Dolphin House. The guests descended and kept the reef on the left. Swimming into the channel and then back towards the boat.
Lunch was served.
Dive 3 – Umm Gammar a mooring dive from the back of the boat. Guests jumped in the water checked their equipment and weights before descending to the reef. Keeping the reef left and then back again. A nice easy check dive with a maximum depth of 22m/66ft. Marine life; clown fish, banner fish, butterfly fish, anthias large napoleon wrasse, lionfish and much more.
After the dive snacks were served.
Dive 4 – Small Giftun . From the back of the boat guests saw school of pipe fish, crabs, shrimps, Spanish Dancer, cucumbers, squid and much more. We celebrated the week with a special dinner.
Day 6 – Friday 28th July 2023
Today wake up at 5.30am and briefing 6:00 ready for the first morning dive.
Dive 1 - Small Giftun island a dive site called Police station. Guests took the zodiac around the reef and descended keeping the reef on the right heading back towards our boat. A fantastic dive very relaxing with a beautiful reef and 1000s of fish. Guests saw; 3 x octopus, free swimming moray eels, napoleon wrasse and much more.
Breakfast was served and guests relaxed and watched the video of the week.
Dive 2 - El Minya wreck. A great dive on the old Russian minesweeper wreck. Guests descended down our line directly to the wreck. They explored the outside of the wreck which is sitting at a maximum depth of 30m. Guests saw jelly fish, nudis, angle fish and much more.
After lunch payments were taken and we celebrated the week with our cocktail party.
