Saturday 29 July 2023

On Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 4 pm, our esteemed guests were warmly welcomed aboard the Turks and Caicos Aggressor II. After arranging their dive equipment and receiving an introductory tour of their cabins, a comprehensive briefing was provided by Captain Josh. The evening concluded with a delectable dinner skillfully prepared by the exceptional Chef Taren.

 

Sunday 30 July 2023

Moving on to Sunday, July 30, 2023, our day commenced at 6 am, as the engines were fired up, marking the onset of exploration at Eel Garden, Northwest Point. During this dive, a captivating array of marine life was observed, including reef sharks, Nassau grouper, jackfish, garden eels, stingrays, skeleton shrimp, anemones, spittle shrimp, and arrow blennies. A satisfying lunch followed, and the journey continued to the dome for subsequent diving activities. There, the presence of sharks, arrow crabs, blennies, queen angelfish, and cleaning channel crabs further enriched the experience.

 

In the evening, our guests enjoyed a captivating video of the dome game show, and attentively participated in the night dive presentation. The night dive itself proved to be enthralling, as numerous large channel crabs made an appearance, and even sharks and rays were sighted, creating lasting memories for all in attendance.

 

Monday 31st July 2023

Waking up to a beautiful morning in Northwest Point, we began our day at a wonderful dive site called Amphitheatre. A great dive site with a spectacular wall, we had sightings of both tiger and Nassau groupers, Caribbean reef sharks, skeleton shrimp, coral banded shrimp, a spotted drum fish and arrow blennies. During lunch, we moved to West Caicos for our afternoon and night dive. Here we stopped at a dive site named Driveway. On this dive we had sightings of Caribbean reef sharks, yellow headed jawfish, coral banded shrimps, a golden tail moray eel, a queen angel fish, and a snapping shrimp. In the evening, staying at driveway, we spotted an octopus, southern stingrays, and Caribbean reef squid. A great day for all!

 

Tuesday 1st August 2023

On Tuesday 1st, with the first light Captain Josh fired up the engines to have our morning dives after a fantastic breakfast on Brandi Wine, a beautiful site that has a bit of everything for all kinds of divers, up on the reef we saw a hall variety of reef fishes and 2 very friendly turtles, at the wall an spottle Eagle ray amaze us with its beauty as well as 2 curious shark. For our afternoon dive and night dive we explore the Spanish Anchor where the underwater world greeted us with a magnificent display of marine life, including lobsters, cowfish, coral banned shrimp, Nassau grouper, puffer fish, neck crabs, reef sharks, queen angle fish, rays, and even squids.

 

Wednesday 2nd August 2023

With a beautiful sunrise, we started our day besides West Caicos, at a wonderful dive site called Gullies, for our 2 morning dives. Many great sightings were seen here, including 3 neck crabs, Caribbean reef sharks, barracuda, a peacock flounder, juvenile drum fish, arrowhead crabs, juvenile slender file fish and a spotted moray eel. Over lunch, we moved along the island slightly, to a dive site called Magic Mushroom for our afternoon and night dives. In the afternoon, we spotted a very friendly hawksbill turtle, barracuda, Caribbean reef sharks, a French angel fish, decorator crab, southern stingrays, a golden tail moray, and a pair of white spotted file fish. In the evening for the night dive, we saw Caribbean reef sharks, lobsters, southern stingrays and Caribbean reef squid. A great day for all the guests!

 

Thursday 3rd August 2023

This morning, we moved to our final dive site at West Caicos, Elephant Ear Canyon, which is always a favorite for the guests. During our 2 morning dives here, we were delighted to see Caribbean reef sharks, nurse sharks, a resident flying gurnard, multiple arrow blennies, a southern stingray, a green sea turtle, goatfish, honeycomb cowfish and a peacock flounder. Over lunch, we moved back to Northwest Point to a dive site called Shark Hotel. Many fun things to see at this dive site including a banded clinging crab, a queen angel fish, coral banded shrimp, arrow blennies, honeycomb cowfish, another very friendly hawksbill turtle and a large school of horse eyed jacks underneath the boat. In the evening for our final night dive, we had sightings of an octopus, basket stars, channel clinging crabs and a nurse shark. Finishing the day with a hot chocolate, guests went to bed very happy indeed!

 

Friday 4th August 2023

Waking up at 2 step with our final dive of the charter, the day started off beautifully. On the reef here we saw Caribbean reef sharks, lobsters, a school of barracuda, lionfish and some beautiful sea stars. After the dive, we made our way back to turtle cove marina and celebrated the week with an afternoon cheese and wine party. What a fantastic week we had.
