Sunday, 1st of October
Location: Malé Atoll
This afternoon we welcomed 22 guests onboard from Brazil. After the welcome drinks and snacks, they were introduced to the boat and crew. We did a boat safety briefing, and then had dinner.
Monday, 2nd of October

1st: Maa Giri
2nd: Lankan Reef
3rd: Fish Tank
We began our week with a check dive at Maa Giri. This dive offers an easygoing opportunity for divers to check their equipment, weight system, and ensure all gear is functioning properly. Divers spotted a huge school of yellow snappers, some moray eel, a porcupine fish, and lots of glass fish. After breakfast, we headed to Lankan Reef for our second dive. Lankan is known for its manta cleaning station. There were 3 mantas on the cleaning station that guests spent the dive watching. Our last dive today was at fish tank. Highlights of the dive were lots of moray eels, nose pointed sting rays, and napoleon wrasse.
Tuesday, 3rd of October
Location: Vaavu Atoll
Dive Sites:
1st: Dihh Giri
2nd: Mayaru Kandu
3rd: Alimatta Kandu
4th: Alimatta Kandu
We started today with a dive at Dihh Giri. Highlights of the dive were the 20 nurse sharks on the site along with lots of remoras. After breakfast, we headed to Mayaru Kandu. During the channel dive we spotted an eagle ray, some grey reef sharks, and napoleon wrasse. Our third dive was at Alimatta Kandu. Divers spotted black tip reef shark, 6 nurse sharks, 3 eagle rays, and an octopus. We returned to Alimatta for our night dive. Highlights of the night dive were nurse sharks, lobster, octopus, and moray eel.
Wednesday, 4th of October

1st: Machafushi Wreck
2nd: Lux Reef
3rd: Kudrah Thilla
We started today with a dive at Machafushi Wreck. Divers enjoyed exploring the cargo ship and saw a large school of hardy heads, jacks, map puffer fish, and stone fish. After breakfast, we did a snorkeling excursion with a whale shark on lux reef followed by a dive where we spotted the whale shark again! Other highlights of the dive were yellow snapper, moray eel, hawksbill sea turtle, and nudibranch. Our third dive was at Kudrah Thilla. Divers got to swim through the huge school of yellow snappers that cover the entire Thilla.
Thursday, 5th of October

1st: Camel Rock Manta Point
2nd: Mahibadoo Manta Point
3rd: Fish Head
Our morning started with a dive at Camel Rock Manta Point. We were able to watch one manta on the cleaning station, other highlights were a tiger mantis shrimp, and a group or oriental sweetlips. After breakfast we headed to Mahibadoo Manta Point. We spotted 3 manta rays that hung around the cleaning station the entire dive. Our third dive was at Fish head. Highlights of the dive were grey reef sharks, mantis shrimp, white tip reef sharks, and yellow snappers.
Friday, 6th of October

1st: Battalamagakan Thilla
2nd: Battalla Thilla
3rd: Maya Thilla
4th: Maya Thilla
This morning started with a dive at Battalamagakan Thilla. During the dive we spotted green sea turtles, grey reef sharks, napoleon wrasse, and an octopus. Our next dive was at Battalla Thilla. We saw some grey reef sharks, an eagle ray, giant frog fish, and hawksbill sea turtle. Our third dive today was at Maya Thilla. Divers spotted 6 grey reef sharks, yellow fin barracuda, moray eel, and 3 cuttlefish. Our night dive was also on Maya Thilla. Highlights were the feeding frenzy of moray eels, grey reef sharks, and white tip reef sharks coming out to hunt.
Saturday, 7th of October
Location: Malé Atoll
Dive Sites:
1st: Shark Tank
2nd: Kurumba House Reef
We started the day off at Shark Tank. We spotted around 100 nose pointed sting ray, and a few spinner sharks. Our last dive of the trip was an easygoing dive at Kurumba House Reef. Divers spotted black tip reef sharks, a large school of yellow snapper, hawksbill sea turtle, and reef octopus. Before dinner, we had a farewell party where guests enjoyed snacks and drinks before receiving awards earned during the trip.
Sunday, 8th of October
Departure day!
This morning guests had breakfast and prepared for departure. We enjoyed getting to know and spend time with this group, and hope they enjoyed their experience on Maldives Aggressor 2!
